Please bear in mind that it may take a little while before you start to get used to using the EaseCup during your period. The first few times, the EaseCup may not be very comfortable yet or there may be some leakage. You probably experienced initial difficulties too when starting to use tampons while now you don't even think about it. Most women must first practise a little before the insertion and removal of the EaseCup becomes easy. This is part of the course. Before starting to use the EaseCup, it's best to practise on a day when you don't have your period or when your discharge is less and when you don't have to work or have other distractions. You'll find it easier to relax on such days and it will be easier to insert the EaseCup and get used to using it. After practising for a bit, you will feel how the EaseCup adjusts to your body. The EaseCup is different when compared to tampons, menstrual sponges, monthly pads and menstrual cups that you are used to. The size of the EaseCup is suitable for (nearly) every woman because of its special design. Regardless of your age, the size of your vagina or the quantity of menstrual fluid. Most women can use an EaseCup longer (up to no fewer than 12 hours!) than traditional period products. It does not cause dryness or and hasn't been linked to toxic shock syndrome (TSS). You may accidently pull out the coil when you remove the EaseCup. If necessary, ask your GP for information before starting to use the EaseCup. - If you have ever had toxic shock syndrome (TSS), only use the EaseCup after consulting your GP. As far as it is known, there is no risk of TSS when using the EaseCup. - NEVER USE THE EaseCup FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS CONSECUTIVELY WITHOUT EMPTYING AND REPLACING IT. - Do not use the EaseCup immediately after giving birth or having a miriage. Consult your GP about the right moment to start using the EaseCup again. The EaseCup is not suitable as a replacement of maternity pads. - You do not have to remove the EaseCup when you make love. The EaseCup does NOT, however, offer protection against pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)! - If the use of the EaseCup should lead to pain or other complaints with regard to you or your partner, stop using it immediately and, if necessary, contact your GP. - It is unlikely that the EaseCup will cause an ic reaction.
