The entire door is about 9 3/4 " H and 9 1/8"W remembering that the corners are rounded. The actual opening is about 7 3/4" H and 7 1/4"W.

is it really 11+ inches wide? what is cut size of hole in door?

My dog is a 20 pound westie and he fits fine through it. The cut size is just a bit larger than the outside edges of the dog door. I don't think it is 11 wide but it is at least 11 tall.

What is the cut out required to mount in the door?

Will this door fit on a screen?

I installed my dog door in a standard door so I cannot answer from experience. I think that this one might be to much for a screen door.
