The board game "Great Western Trail: Rails to the North, 2nd Edition" is the expansion to the second edition of the base game "Great Western Trail". In my case, the language differences between the expansion (English) and the base game (Italian) do not matter. As in the base game, the expansion comes equipped with an insert to organize the tokens and cards. The play experience is really fun as confirmed by boardgamegeek.

We love the expansion pack. My husband and I are very into board games and this has been a fun one to add to our collection. We love the additional challenge.

This new edition comes with some small enhancements that are welcome, but I can't say I think the art is better... This is a challenging game, but if you put in the effort to learn it, it's immensely rewarding!
