Pretty good if you've never taught children
As I'd never taught children, the best part was page 17. It has some games with index cards that elementary school teachers probably know already. Great value for the price, really. Be advised that the book is designed for elementary school teachers (not English teachers) that live in the US and have to teach and welcome foreign students who don't speak English

Too American
The content is too American-based for me. the instructions and activities are set-up for a bilingual classroom environment, which, does not suit to the Japanese environment I am teaching in. However, the practices and some of the activities is somewhat applicable.
