Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliner Pens, Sepia, Assorted Point Sizes - 4 Pack

For those of you who do zentangle, this is a great alternative to black and white or even the use of different colors. I purchased a pack of ivory blank cards with envelopes here and have been having a blast making zentangle greeting cards using this sepia ink (the ivory also looks good with black ink). This set has 4 drawing pens-- one is .1, which is smaller than I was taught zentangle with, but I enjoy using it for very intricate work. The .5 is what I'd mostly used, and it works just like the .5 black ink (except in sepia). Same for the 1 Graphic pen. The Brush pen was new to me, and it has been a little difficult to work with in that it has a tendency to show brush strokes, or lighter and darker areas if I don't go over it 2 or 3 times. Still, even with that issue, it's good to fill in large areas that would take much longer with the Graphic 1 pen. I really enjoy the color-- I'm a fan of the old sepia photos. I would like to see more pen sets like this in other colors-- maybe navy or dark gray. Btw, Thank You Amazon! I never would have found this locally. I can barely find the .5 and 1 Graphic pens in black, and they are usually out of stock!

This is a nice variety of pen sizes, easy to hold pens and I love how they mark the tops with the size of that pen. I got the brown, thinking I will have to go back and get the black, but somehow the brown is dark enough not to need black ink. I would purchase again!

These pigma pens are great for drawing on almost anything. I use them to make quilt labels because they are permanent and don't bleed on fabric like other pens may do. They are great for drawing faces, particularly eyes on fabric dolls. I've also just discovered a passion for Zentangle, which is a drawing technique done on paper, and they are fantastic for that, too. Crisp, clear lines, almost no drying time needed, they don't smudge when erasing pencil lines around them. They last a long time. This set is sepia ink, and looks great. Never had a problem with any of the pigma pens.

For the price they aren’t bad. I wish there was more brush pens in the pack. I got it in sepia and i liked the ink color. They are completely waterproof and don’t bleed. Good for watercolor art.

I bought a few smaller sized pens like these at a local Michaels store for journaling. They work great and I can be assured that my writing will still be legible in fifty years or so due to the archival ink. I bought this set because I’d like to use that archival ink for some drawings and needed the larger sized pens and the brush. The sepia color option is beautiful and definitely adds something to the projects that would be missing from just using black. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to order more.

My favorite pens for inking. They last a long time and the nibs are always on point, plus, the inking is waterproof once dry if you want to watercolor over it

Work as they should love the varying sizes

I think the images I have posted are scintillating evidence of the quality of this product. Despite not being an artist, I was able to make two decent drawings with the Sepia microns. 01 is good for detailing, 05 is great overall, the brush can be used to provide gentle touches, whereas, the graphic is good more adding more shade to the scene.

Meant to get black, bought sepia by mistake. I think this was even a re-order of black ones in the past where they changed the SKU at some point. Either way, just note these are not the black. Classic pens though, have been using these since I was a design student in college.

I was hesitant to get them as I was afraid they'd be a copy but so glad to find that they weren't. All the pens worked great!

I'm pleased with these sepia pens, but I find I have to work slowly with the .25 fine, as the ink doesn't flow very quickly down the shaft, maybe brown ink has a different texture to other colours.
