Great tent! 3 people can definitely sleep comfortably in it, good material. The only downside is the zipper, where you need to be a bit more careful when using it, especially if the tent is fully stretched with all the chords anchored.

Really does black out the sun for late sleepers or afternoon naps. Cooler inside too. Also blocks in the light. Not sure if "blockin" is a word, but it does just that. If you are sleeping normal night hours in a regular tent and your travel partner is a night owl up all night reading with a bright light or watching movies or someone afraid of the dark that simply must have a flood light LED lantern shining inside the tent all night radiating out 360 degrees and keeping everyone else up, etc. then give this tent as a gift to them so you can sleep. It really works. The zipper is kinda weird tho how it is attached like a book for a giant door hinged in a little fabric when open all the way. And I don't understand why the opening pulls so bad when set up that it won't zip without unhooking three side clips. Good ventilation if you pull the guide strings out and attach them to a tree or stake. Nice ground zipper mesh window for air flow. Pretty huge inside the 4 person tent. Two twin mattress would fit the long way so your feet are pointing at a wall and not out the door because turning it that way the mattress is a little too long and risks getting damp from poking against the edge.

I would say this tent is more of a two person tent than 4, but it worked well for me two kids and I. It was waterproof and lightweight. Super easy to setup. Highly recommend for 2-3 people

I originally thought this was a great idea, what I didn't think about was this. The blackout tent is DARK, that's what I thought was going to be great. Wrong, at least for me. It is dark during the day, but you can see.....ish. At night is a very different story. You cannot see anything. Even finding the flashlight was a chore. I didn't realize how much light there actually is at night if you need to get up to use the restroom, good luck finding the zipper!! Also, the zipper is JUNK!!! That review is very truthful, more on that later. Now in reality it is at most a 2-person tent. If you need to have gear inside out of the weather and sleep, there is no way you are going to get four people in it. Having it dark to try to sleep in may work if you are by yourself in the back country, but I don't think that would really work either. I was with a group and honestly, we are all early risers. Just because its dark doesn't mean that it cuts out noise. Mornings are pretty loud. If you're in a campground, people get up and talk and will walk by. If you're in a group, other members will get up and start their day. If you're in the back country, birds and other wildlife will be starting their day. If you're on the lake/river, fishing boats will be flying around to get to their spot. Like I said, just because its dark doesn't mean it isn't noisy. Anyway, to save on the zipper I ended up removing the clips from the pole nearest to the opening/door. If I wouldn't have done this, I am sure that the zipper would have failed before the weekend was over. However, this opened up its own set of problems. Due to taking support away from the pole, it bent the metal connector and split one of the fiberglass portions of the poles. I do believe I can bend it back and tape up the pole, but I am thinking this is going to go in the garbage. The metal connector that bent was one that has a 45-degree bend in it, it is now more than 90. The reason it bent was because a small storm came through with some wind. Now that's another issue. Saying this tent is water resistant is pushing it. After that storm was over, everything on the floor was soaking wet. This included my clothes. Thankfully I had an air mattress I was sleeping on so my bedding/sleeping bag was only damp, this could have been due to humidity. Take this from someone who don't take the time to write reviews very often, buy anything else!

I took a chance on this tent and I'm glad I did. Small, lightweight, and easy to set up. Truly is very dark inside. Need a flashlight during the day to find your feet kind of dark! Nice mesh roof with good ventilation. If you pull the guy lines for the fly really close, it can stay warm too. Camped in about 50° and it was comfy. Yes, the zipper sucks! Not sure why, but it does. Overall a great tent for 2 people.
