Winco Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer with Suction Cup, 3-1/2-Inch by 1-1/8-Inch

Simple and works.

Arrived on time. Quality is as described. Temperature seems to be accurate. It really helped with the cooking process on the grill.

With the clip being adjustable, I am able to use this in both my small (12oz) and large (20oz) frothing pitchers. Pros: Did both the boiling water and ice water test, no need to adjust calibration out of the package. Using this multiple times daily, with just a quick rinse and wipe with a clean cloth after each use, it has kept its new appearance. I use the Profitec frothing pitchers, and they have a slight curved lip on the edge and still no issue with using the thermometer clip. No moisture under the dial as of yet either. Cons: Wish the 140-160 range was marked better (like some others where they shade the range between the 2 numbers in green, etc.) vs just using red numbers for these degrees. I know it's only a 1" dial, ,but wished the numbers were a little bigger or in bold to make them easier to see.

I knew my oven thermostat wasn't right! Now I know to lower it by 20 degrees and food doesn't burn. Just hook it towards the back and all you need to do is check it when your oven heats up and see if temps match. Mine just stays in there

It appears there are reviews for several different types of thermometers here. This is for the Winco Grill Surface Thermometer. After several uses, (maybe 8-10) the thermometer cover turned black. While the thermometer may still be registering it does no good since you cannot see it. The thermometer can't be disassembled, so I can't take it apart to clean the glass if that's the problem.

Much bigger than I had envisioned even with the dimensions clearly stated in the description. Stuck in a small pot of water and brought it up to a full roiling boil and the thermometer performed perfectly, clearly recording a water temp of 212F/100C. Found temp markings to be large enough for me to read easily. Overall feel of the thermometer is robust - plenty of sturdy/durable materials used. Clamps securely to pot rim, adjusts easily for depth. Cannot imagine how it could be any better at this price - it seems like a good value at under $8.00 and if it had cost more, I doubt I'd have been disappointed. This candy thermometer was a good buy. It's accurate and strong and durable. It's easy to use, easy to read and being stainless steel is easy to clean and you know how hard to clean cooked sugar is! It makes candy and fudge making less difficult. In addition to using this,I also use the ice water to test what stage the candy is in. Making candy isn't the simplest thing in the world and this thermometer is reliable.

I purchased this to monitor my cars ac vent temperature. We live in the hot desert and it helps diagnose if your AC system may need to be recharged based on vent temperature. It came with a battery ready to go. Turn it on and it's working. Great little thermometer.
