If you are looking for a scarf that is NOT a square that you have to fold down many times to make a headband, this is it. Exactly what I wanted, personally, since my job only allows all black hair accessories. It is marketed as a neck scarf, but the width is a smidge wider than that of a wide headband, so it works great that way. The material is thin but a decent weight. It is opaque, so no see-through. Simple stitching, tapered ends, nothing fancy. Has a little bit of sheen to it. It holds pretty well in place with a double knot if you don't mind the long tails (very old Hollywood top down convertible look), but is long enough to wrap back to front to tie a small knot in front. Much better quality than I expected for the price.

Great way to wear a tie for a female in a male dominated word field

It is slender- but that is the point. Makes a lovely thin bow or neck tie. Nice colour- got lots of compliments.

Length says 55”. But the ends are tapered. So to try to tie in a bow around my neckline .. doesn’t work.

I have ordered more then one of these scarves and liked them. However, this last red one is disappointing because it is not a true red, but a rusty orange.
