Worth investing!
Good book, that stays with you for a long time. There are some outdated sections like the reference to God and stuff like that, but otherwise a good read.

Avoid at all costs - Potentially damaging.
I really felt compelled to write a review on this book.It implies that our thoughts shape our experience. I'm not against that per se. However, the author then in my opinion over reaches by claiming these thoughts are not by circumstance."A person does not end up in the gutter or a prison by the tyranny of fate or circumstance, but by the path of low thoughts and base desires"This is an extremely dismissive stance when we are becoming more aware of the psychological and physiological impact of trauma. The reality for many is that their circumstance has had a significant and detrimental impact to their well-being.This book seems to suggest that positive thought alone will lift people from potential difficulties they may be facing. This purely internal cognitive effort will for some, perhaps have an impact and yet for others may cause further harm by implying they're "below beast".This feels like an exceptionally ignorant stance and the book could be summarised by simply suggesting "think happy thoughts" is a cure for anyone suffering.I can't advise against this book enough.
