Amazon Basics 13mm Extra Thick NBR Yoga and Exercise Mat with Carrying Strap, Blue

Love this mat. It's long and wide enough and also thick so good comfort. Actually better than the Kobo 15mm yoga mat. Would've loved it in a cover that can fit this mat. However, overall nice purchase.

Mat is as expected - a basic workout mat Having used other brands over years this has nothing to complain about. Light weight, Grips good on floor as well is the body contact points. Easy to clean material. Only issue is its too narrow for me to even do a basic pushup. I'm 181cms with decent broad body. I can comfortably fit while lying down with arms close to body but can't fit inside for workouts.

Material is okay, not very durable and softer than expected. It's benefit is that after unrolled, it stays flat, but can easily get prrmanent marks/tears when exersing with fingers on the mat with weight or not stored carefully. The problem comes with size. Description gives size to be 190cm in length, but it is shy of that, measured 182cm. Also it is 12mm wide as written in description, but is advertised as 13mm in the title (maybe including bumps? But that shall not be counted). The width is 2 ft or 61cm, as advertised. The color is way off then shown in the image for blue, that's a good point as the color in the image is much worse than what comes out of the box (dark blue) It is good for less than 700rs.

My Father- in- law wanted a Yoga Mat which was durable and at the same time had better thickness so that which yoga poses he doesn't feel ground. This mat had thickness better than other mats online and various colour options available as well. It is longer and wider and now my FIL can fo his yoga comfortably.

The cushioning is good. Quality is good. Recommend to go ahead if planning to buy wont regret.

I purchased Amazon Basics Yoga mat on 8th Jul and the return window closed on 15th (yesterday). I had used for a couple of days and I already see the form pealing off in places where the foot rests. Also, there were packaging impression in the sides. Since I thought it would not impact my usage, I ignored it. Now I see this product wouldn’t last even for a month of use. I failed to report it within the window for return and the customer support executive rejected my request. I already have a different mat and purchased one more and thought Amazon basic product would be better quality and I paid more than the one I already have. It’s a waste of money. I suggest not to buy this mat as it won’t suite your purpose. And request Amazon to remove this product from their website as well. Thanks.

This is a really nice, thick yoga mat-substantial cushioning that makes a big difference. I actually use it in my kitchen as a standing mat while cooking, and it’s fantastic for that. My feet and back thank me after long sessions at the counter. The only downside: If you drop anything (crumbs, sauce, oil, whatever), good luck. The textured surface has all these little crevices that trap everything, and cleaning it is a serious pain in the ass. It’s basically impossible to get fully clean without a lot of effort. Great mat for yoga or comfortable standing if you’re careful and don’t mind the cleaning hassle. Would still recommend, just know what you’re getting into! 👍
