Is this Blu Emu odor free?  I have bought two other brands and they have a strong odor

I don't know why all the answers say it is odor free.  I bought it and it stinks horribly.  It smells like a combination of Noxema and Jergens hand lotion.   It smells so strong that I cannot stand to use it.   I bought Penetrex and Blue Emu in the hopes that I would find the Blue Emu was just as good for half the price.  But I will never know if it work as well as Penetrex because I simply cannot stand the smell of Blue Emu enough to use it.

What ingredient in the jar helps with pain?

the emu oil helps with pain and swelling.  In Australia they use the pure Emu oil for pain.  It is the only product I have used that is so effective.
when I put it on my finger to apply to my neck pain, the swelling on my knuckle from arthritis goes away. pain in my neck goes away from degenerative disc and swelling uner my jaw goes down as well.
Love it.

tHIS BLUE-CREME IS just works for a half an hour or so.   It is not a miracle help.  I feel that looking back to what food you ate before using it.  READ labels,  especially Potassium Sorbate is a real KILLER to joints.   This is only one of the additives to look for besides the others.  You have to read everything on the label.   You can write to Google and they can help about damaging additives.  To me this is going on to many things we eat and do not know the consequences of suffering, especially from Arthritis.  Potassium Sorbate is anotjher  in foods.  BL

how good does it work for knee pain caused by cartilage damage?

It would depend on the severity of damaged cartilage.  My husband and I use it and it works really well. I have knee pain on the left side and I used it daily for a time and now do not have to use it daily.  My husband uses it on several of his joints and it works. It is very good for inflammation of the joints but not a cure all.  If you are unsure I would suggest that you ask a medical person.  We like and are still using it.
