Amazing!!
I write this review after using this product for 4 years. I can tell you, this thing is sturdy as hell!! As a chef I use and abuse it extremely frequently and it’s still going strong. Always given me an accurate read. Just remember to calibrate in the beginning so you know incase its base temperature is off by a few degrees (I check by putting it in boiling water). It’s honestly a great product for the price. Definitely would recommend!

Mr.
Build quality is so so but at the price I got it, I'm satisfied. At boiling water it shows 99.2°C.

Faulty product
Stopped giving the reading from second time use. Even after changing batteries product did not work.

Good enough for the price
After using it a few times I am satisfied with it Pros: Comes in a cylindrical case for safe storage Easy to use Gives fast reading for dishes which are hotter than 70 °C Cons: Not easy to pull out of the cylindrical case (The string to pull the lid off the case should perhaps be available on the base of the thermometer to pull it out easily as well. However you can pull off the lid from both sides and poke it out but it isn't ideal imo) It takes a lot of time to display final temperature of dishes that are below 70°C from what I have observed so far. So if I am trying to cook chicken at safe levels of 75° C I end up waiting a lot to get final temp if I have grossly undercooked it Overall I can't expect more from a meat probe at this price point and is suitable for my needs

Great kitchen thermometer
It's a superb thermometer for measuring temperatures of food items. Very cheap and great value for money. The only minor issue is the time it takes to reach a peak reading. For example, if you measure the temperature of boiling water after the source of heat has been turned off, the temperature of the water itself would have fallen by a few degrees by the time the thermometer reaches its peak reading. So, you have to learn to compensate for that. But it's not really a big issue, because no one needs really accurate temperatures in the kitchen.
