Weiler 44026 Heavy Duty Deck Scrub Brush with Natural Palmyra Bristles for Wooden Decks, Conrete Patios, and Other Rough Surfaces

Fair price. Exactly what I was looking for with solid wood and natural bristles. Used with Rubbermaid wooden handle sold on Amazon. Perfect fit. Will last a long time.

Similar to the ones I used in the military. I bought these for wooden mats that I built for our back door. It seemed to be the perfect addition to the wooden slated mat, as one can stand and get the loose leaves and dirt from the bottoms of their shoes, and wipe off the remainder residue on the slated mat. Seems to work great now, time will tell how long the brush holds up to the constant brushing of shoes and boots. So far the bristles are holding up to the abuse, and the brush itseld seems well made. As a scrub brush it will take a screw in handle as well as a slick handle with no problems. A great buy!

We needed a good stiff but not dangerously stiff brush for loosening dirt deep down in yucky grout before we could steam mop to sterilize. It was incredibly difficult to find a good old fashioned 'deck brush' anywhere locally. The Weiler 44026 10" Block Size, Palmyra Fill, Wood Block, Deck Scrub Brush fit the bill and worked very nicely in a large area of indoor tile and grout. It feels sturdy, fit a standard car wash brush pole we had on hand and rinsed clean. However, we notice a significant amount of broken and lose bristles were lost during use. Will use this one more time in two tiled bathrooms and see if it holds up. Took away one star for durability for this reason only. The brush did not scratch the cheap printed ceramic tile. Very glad for that as some brushes can be harmful to surfaces like that. Lastly, had hoped it was US made. But we are happy we didn't have to get down on hands and knees to scrub grout in an old house. It did what we needed it to do. Sometimes the 'old way' really is the best way when it comes to cleaning. A steam mop alone would not have gotten the funky build up out of deep grout lines.

Great natural bristle brush! Should work perfectly for the job at hand which is a texturized deck. The handle screwed in relatively deep and fit snugly.

Used this brush to scrub concrete before sealing. The size was perfect and cleaning effectiveness made the job easy. The durability allows me to save it for many more uses.

I've used a couple of these now for different purposes and it's one that I'll keep buying. I've used these on concrete driveways, brick, and a variety of wood surfaces. It handles any chemical I've thrown at it without being destroyed or even compromised. The bristles are strong and durable, quite stiff, and great for removing caked on and embedded dirt, algae, mold, or other decayed material. In general, it's probably not the right tool for hard metal surfaces unless it was a caked on dirt, for instance like gutter crud. But on metal the bristles are probably too stiff to get any good scrub action. So far I've used 12% chlorine bleach, muriatic acid, sulfuric acid, trisodium phosphate, and oxalic acid [obviously at different times and with a clean out brush] Never go from one solution to the other without thoroughly rinsing, and drying your brush. Preferable to consistently use only for the same chemical. Be sure to always thoroughly rinse clean after use, even if for a short time. I don't know what happens if you don't because it's just good process to do so. But if you do, this brush will continue to perform. Not that they are costly to replace, but it's nice knowing you don't have to carry extras or keep them inventory.
