Review: Amazing read for children - Love it ! My child has been reading it since he was one year old and enjoys it at 3 years as well. Review: Great to introduce the concept of 'Birthday' ! - I bought this book in the run-up to my sons second birthday. He'd been showing interest in birthday cakes, blowing out candles and has been humming along to the Happy Birthday song. So this book made sense. And yes, he did love it. Like the other Karen Katz books, this one is colorful with beautiful pictures. The baby searching for the cake is so much fun. My lil one loves to look under the flaps..but that said, while the flaps are made of thick paper - they are easy to tear. My 2-year old loves it !

0歳後半の息子に購入
「Where is Baby's Bellybutton」を最初買いました。

wonderful birthday present
I bought this book for my son a few months prior to his first birthday to help him learn about the birthday celebration. I also didn't want him to be frightened at his first birthday party with everyone singing to him, which is a lot of stimuli for a baby, so this book helped prepare him. This book is very colorful, filled with sparkley foiled pages and lots of cute surprises. It quickly became one of his favorite stories to read and was a well loved book. I now buy it as a first birthday gift for all the babies in our life. Karen Katz has yet again created a delightful book filled with whimisical illustrations that capture a baby's attention. The "lift the flaps" concept is wonderful for babies and toddlers. This board book is sturdy, but not indestructible. The flaps are glued on, so they can be torn off, but they do repair reasonably well. A great addition to baby's library!
