I’m a runner and rely and depend on these for running in the cold winter Ohio weather. I run a little over 4 miles per day in low temps in the winter- extreme low temps as well. I can wear a base layer glove and hold these warm packets in my hands during my entire 4 plus miles in 20 degrees and below weather and these are AMAZING!!! They really work and my hands have never even got remotely cold on my long runs. I would imagine these are great for any type of outdoor activity in most cold weather locations which have very low temperatures. Super successful for me, and I have tested them on MANY running occasions. I don’t run without them. Game changer item for me!

They are super easy to use and they’re warm within 2-4 minutes for the palms and fingers. Now I opened these up a little after 3 PM and it is now almost 4:45 PM & they have become so hot thatI cannot hold them anymore. Also, I have a flannel top on with a cotton shirt under it, and I can’t even put it against my skin anymore. I have to put it on top of the flannel top I’m wearing so it can warm up my shoulder because I can no longer put it against my bare skin. And then I realized laying here my nose is always cold and I have no way to warm it up so I put one across my nose ha ha ha. So I suspect these things stay hot for 2 to 3 hours, but I will let you know when I edit this in a couple of days. 4 hours later and they are so hot I can’t hold them. At 10:25 p.m. I can finally hold them again. That’s a lot of hours of heat, which is amazing to me. I highly recommend these, but be careful when they start to get extremely hot. Let them cool down before putting them inside of your gloves. Just stick them in your pockets for a while. At 12:30, just after midnight I picked them up and massaged them and they heated up again. I can now warm up my nose again. YippeeI will buy these again and give some away.

These are just a fabulous product. I bought them to hand out to the homeless in Seattle. I live next door to a foodbank and I see so many people suffering in the cold so I felt it necessary to help where I can. I do not discriminate. They could be doing drugs right in front of me, and I will still hand these to them. I highly recommend them because they are GREAT when I ride my Ebike and my skin is exposed. I just crack these open and hold them in my pockets or put them on the back of my neck or cheek and VOILA, instantly warmer. The size is perfect and you can use them literally anywhere anytime. I notice that they last quite a long time too. The price is great compared to vitamins and at least you can see and feel the difference! 😂

We love these HotHands hand warmers. They are fast-acting, long-lasting, and perfect for outdoor activities, especially during the colder months. We used them a lot during horse shows, events, and lessons, and they made such a difference when we were outside for hours. They are also great to keep on hand for power outages or as an easy comfort item for elderly family members who just cannot seem to stay warm. We will definitely keep repurchasing.

I bought these to attend an outdoor concert in November and these definitely worked. With minimal effort I got them to maximum warmth with little effort. The good thing is they stayed warm for over an hour and actually helped to warm the rest of me. I have no complaints about this product they are a great buy!

The HotHands are very good. There are several different brands out there but I find HotHands probably the best. While the differences are not too significant, but I can definitely feel that 1) HotHands seem to deliver a bit more heat. I think that is because the packets contain a bit more material. And 2) HotHands seem to last just a bit longer. The basic principle of "HotHands" or anything similar is oxidative reaction of oxygen (from air) to metal shavings (mostly iron, magnesium, and so on) inside this air-permeable pouch. When reacted, the production of ferrous oxide (aka rust) produces heat. Simple as that. Therefore, the more material, the hotter and longer it will burn--but also depending on how much oxygen penetrates the pouch to support that chemical reaction. Too much or too little are both bad. Anyway, HotHands seem to have gotten it just right. It is also useful keeping a pack inside your winter glove/mitten, or inside your sock (around the ankles). You might try inside your shoes, although I haven't tried that myself. Anyway, you should consider this brand (HotHand) and you should consider the most economical package--currently the 10-pack for $7 with Add-On shipping. This brings the final cost down to 70 cents per pair (or 35 cents per pack). Assuming you will use two packs (one for each hand) every time. The packs (each pair) come INDIVIDUALLY wrapped so you can open just one pack and save the other pack for later. For about 8-10 hours of heat (advertised for 10 hours, but I think 8-hour is average) for 35 cents - worth it. Oh, yes, the heating time is very dependent on how much air you let in. If you keep it inside your pocket the entire time, not a lot of oxygen gets inside so the pack actually lasts a bit longer. If you keep it outside in open air and shake it often, the materials will burn out faster. You get the gist. Someone recently asked is this too hot to burn? Answer: not gonna start a fire, no, but if you sleep on it (ie lay on it motionless for a long duration) you will get skin burn from the constant heat. Like putting your hand on a heater, after a while you will burn your hand. So.. be aware. Happy warming!

I bought these to use in church! The church has beautiful stained glass windows but is old and wind finds a way in. Because of the frigid temps we have had this winter, my hands were painfully cold. I bought these and tucked one into the palm of half finger gloves. They did the trick. Important to read directions. Take them out and shake them 30 minutes before you want the warmth. These stay hot for 10 hours. I had cold feet when got home so I tucked them into the top of my socks near my ankle. Nice heat very comfortable did not feel uncomfortably hot. Just perfect.

really good! lasted me the entire day of snowboarding and super hot (a little too hot sometimes). it kept me warm in -20 degrees celsius and the whole pack can definitely last me at least 2-3 seasons. also cheaper and just as good as other listings on amazon - would definitely buy again

Good invention for cold hands. If my hands are warm doesn't matter how cold it is, I don't feel it. So this product really is a boon for harsh Melbourne winter and those strong cold winds my god. Keeps warm-to-hot for couple of hours maybe about 8 hours but not 10 hours as advertised. Half way through I take them out of gloves to get them somair to sort of recharge. Work nicely
