Best engineered and designed rack there is
Unbelievably well designed rack for carrying boards on a bike. This is coming from the perspective of a scrutinizing meticulous engineer who has had every type/brand of rack ever brought to market as well as built their own. These are amazing in design, flexibility and craftsmanship. They are super easy to set-up/install with various mounting options. Once installed, super easy to load and hold my various coveted longboards safe and secure on the rough and bumpy roads here in Costa Rica. I’ll admit i was a bit skeptical at first having never heard of the brand and thrown plenty of cash at crappy chinese bs, but these are the real deal. They are fantastic and i think will hold my SUP but not tried that yet. I love em and will definitely buy a pair for use in the states. Pura Vida!

Excellent product and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.
This rack works great for my 9' board - attached it to a Trek mountain bike. The variety of adapters that ship with the rack make it easy to fit various bike configurations. The ability to easily take the bars on and off is the best feature - because I use the same bike for commuting and riding trails. ALSO - great customer service. My hamstring was occasionally rubbing against the back bar. I contacted MovedByBikes and they responded immediately with an idea for a solution. They shipped an adapter to me and all is well!

Sweet Rack
I've owned other surfboard bike racks, and this one is top notch. I installed it on a three speed Hang Ten cruiser, which has the old-school springer fork on the front, and a welded on rack in the rear. I also have the large Wald delivery basket on the front. With the many different pieces of hardware and mounting options, putting the MBB rack on was super straight forward. With the springer fork, I simply rotated the mount around on the front head tube. This bike has room between the top bar and bottom bar on the head tube and it worked perfectly. I went ahead and used the rear bike rack to mount the rear MBB rack. I easily could have used the seat post, but I wanted a bit more space between the two rack arms. One hint I'd like to give is that it helps to put in the L-shaped upper tube (the upper part of the tube that the surfboard will rest in) into the mounted tubes before you tighten them down. This will allow you to properly align the direction of the padded surfboard tube arms relative to the bike and each other rather than just eyeballing the clamps. If this does not make sense now, it will once you have the rack and begin to install it. I highly recommend this surfboard rack. It is well built with quality materials. It would definitely be an odd-ball bike that this rack would not work with. Keep the stoke alive!

One rack for longboard, shortboard, and no board
Two major benefits over a different brand I had bought: - Removable arms that make it easy to configure my bicycle quickly. There are channels along the tubes where they attach, and it's smooth, on and off. I don't want to ride with these on if I'm going grocery shopping. - Two points of contact with the bicycle is a must if you ever intend to ride with a heavier board. If there's only one point of contact on your seatpost, you get a creeping rotation, no matter how tightly you mount it. This fits all my shortboards, but now I can ride with my longboard, too

Love it! Easy to use, Strong and Sturdy!
Best surfboard carrier out there hands down! Fits my longboard snug and STABLE. Solid mount, lots of flexibility for bikes of different frame sizes. LOVE that the mount is detachable. Super easy to take off and put on. Couldn't be easier to remove if you're trying to store the bike in a tight space. Makes me want to surf more now that I don't have to park my car and the rack is so easy to use. I got 2 of these and installed one on each of our cruiser bikes. One was a women's bike with an all steal frame and it took less than 30 mins to put together. The other was a fatter aluminum frame which took about 1.5 hrs. One thing worth mentioning is that even the widest U-Bolt that was provided was not wide enough for my Aluminum bike frame which is a little fatter. (Giant Simple) I had to use a wrench to bend the U-Bolt around the frame in the front so that it would fit and the rubber protection wasn't long enough. Scratched the paint in the process. Once I got it to fit I had to saw the excess length of the screws off from the front mount which it is stated in the manual as might be necessary for some. Maybe include a wider mount for those of us with newer, aluminum frames? Would have given 5 starts if it weren't for that little custom fitment I had to do. Overall great rack and would recommend highly!!

Use the rest, this is the best
I have been using my bike for taking my surf board out with two other racks and by hand (forget that!). I had a previous system which used a bike rack that wasn't really for longboards so I looked around and decided that based on the reviews this was the one to purchase. 1. What's in the box?: You receive in a nicely done box, the rack broken into pieces. Basically there are the attachments points for three things. The front post attachment, the seat (or rear post) attachment, and a bike rack attachment should that be needed. Plus, instructions and a sticker (cool!). 2. Installation? Honestly, the installation was far easier than I realized since the directions say watch videos on the website. I didn't because I didn't feel I need it, but if you need help they are there for you and are fine. To install you need a 10mm wrench and an allen key. If you don't have there I suggest finding them because otherwise installation won't be easy at all. Essentially, you just use the two posts provided for putting the front rack around the bike and using the bolts and nuts and then putting on the reach seat rack most likely doing essentially the same thing. 3. Use?: Fantastic. Though this thing actually has some give, this is great because riding over bumps does cause some vibrations. So there are two pieces. One fits into each attachment and there are teeth so unlike my previous rack, this is not moving around (don't do the final tighten until you play with the tube for the rack as you may want to adjust the thing a bit depending on your board. Once the rack is in place, it clicks with a satisfying click and you are ready to go. It works and it is a little more expensive but in the end I think well worth it. You can also attach a leash of you want for doing your dog around which is nice too. Overall, very nice.

Rock solid, rust free, low profile when not in use
Rock solid! And I love how they have multiple mounting solutions in the box! I put it on my E-Bike to carry my 9’ long board and it works like a dream! I’m one of those people who treats their board like their baby and I trust this rack with my baby!! Oh, best part is that when you’re not using the rack you can take off the tubes that hold the board and it’s low profile and basically disappears. No tubes sticking out!! Also, pretty sure all the parts are either stainless steal or aluminum. I live by the beach and everything rusts super fast, but no evidence of corrosion whatsoever on this. I could take it off and put it back in the box and you wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s used!!

Fits many different ways!
Works great, mounted the back to a rack and front to headtube of my electric mtb, I had to widen and cut the longest U bolt to make it fit as the frame is alloy and 2.25” in dia, once all setup I took for spin am using for my surf sup its 16lbs 8’6” an 29” wide 4” thick so the longboard version is perfect fit. All nicely cut alluminum fittings and stainless bolts 5mm allen heads. Love the way you can quick release the brackets. Very well thought out system! Won’t let me upload a pict just video hmmm I highly recomend this product! I used to be the US olympic cycling mechanic for a couple yrs so know my way around bikes, buy this with confidence !!!

Pros and cons of the MBB Longboard bicycle rack
I've gone out with the MBB longboard rack and so far it has worked well. I ride a fixed gear bicycle. Rear mount touches my right leg a little, but no issues with riding a bicycle. Pros: (1) Sturdy. (2) As advertised. (3) Accessories are great for customizing the perfect fit for your bicycle. Cons: (1) Not compatible with a drop handlebar. I could not turn because the mount was in the way of the handle bar. I had to replace it with a flat bar. (2) Riding on a windy day with a longboard will require some confidence and practice. It might be scary for some. I was out in 80km/h gust and it was very sketchy. My board is 9 ft Torq TET. (I surf great lakes where waves are generated by strong wind.) (3) The rattling noise the longboard makes will be quite noticeable. Whether you can carry a longboard that's more than 9ft depends on your bicycle (do you ride a twitchy bike or a sturdy cruiser?), your board's weight (heavy foamy? or light longboard?), your local weather (windy?), and your skill level (are you a good cyclist?).

Volle Empfehlung!
