Lovely sturdy but soft

Great storage containers, they come flat in the package so do take some time the get their shape, I just put balls of wool in them at first and left for a while so they got their shape, and I am really pleased with them

Baskets not as shown in the photograph. The baskets did not come with the handles as shown in the photo Ordered so that a child could pick them up by the handles . Too much hassle to send back .

They looked great but it was hard to get it to stand up on its own. Would just fold back down

I've been trying to get my closet shelves under control for a while and these baskets have made a real difference. They slide into my cube shelves like they were made for them — the dimensions are spot on and there's no awkward gap or overhang. Each basket holds a solid amount without bulging or losing its shape, which was my main concern with a woven rope design.The rope weave is tight and well-constructed — no loose ends or fraying straight out of the packaging, and after regular use pulling them in and out of shelves they've held up without any signs of wear. The brown tone is warm and natural looking and blends nicely with both wooden and white shelf finishes.Holding back one star because the baskets don't have handles, which makes grabbing them from a tightly packed shelf a little awkward at times. A simple cutout or strap would make a noticeable difference. That aside, these are well-made, practical, and great value for a closet organization upgrade. Would buy more for other shelves around the house.

I'm happy with these. They are not rigid so no crisp sides, a more casual look. Decent color and quality. They are under my entertainment center hiding my power strip and the green light that is distracting when I'm watching television. I love the additional storage, a quick place to stash books, magazines and mail/paperwork - just to get it briefly out of the way.

I should preface that we are using these completely different than for organization. Years ago we found a soft-sided rectangular box on Amazon for cats. The sides snap apart so you can wash it. Our cats LOVE it. It was one of our cat's "safe place" next to the couch. If she was being chased, she would run pu the couch and get into her box. We have one on our bed and again, they would take turns sleeping in it (first come, first served). I looked for more but they were gone like they never existed. I eventually found one's very similar and they were marketing by a certain J.G., the well known cat expert and TV personality. I have a feeling that's why these suddenly became non-existent. I wasn't about to spend $50 on a cloth box with snaps so my search for an alternative began.So long story short, I eventually came across these. The measurements are pretty close to the original with the length 1 inch shorter and the height about 0.75 inch shorter. Pretty close! I got the L11.5xW7.5xH4.7 variety. Next time I think I'll get the L13xW8.5xH5.1 ones. When I got them, they were about $7.50/box vs $47/box for the celebrity branded ones!So I got these and eagerly awaited to test them out as our new cat nap boxes. What's nice about these is you have a choice of many colors versus the official cat ones which come in only a few loud colors. These blend in well to the decor, contain the hair (vs sleeping directly on the bed), and washable. One of our cats is occasionally incontinent overnight (we've reduced the water in his wet food at night and it's gotten much better) but we haven't had any leak-through to the comforter due to the thickness of the material. The only downside is they do not collapse so washing and drying will be interesting but manageable.TL:DR; These make great cat boxes for smaller cats. Well made.

One star off because they are shipped in a way that makes it necessary for you to steam them into shape. Unfortunately, no amount of steaming made mine look like the listing images. While the shaping issue is annoying, these baskets are well made, the brown colorway looks exactly as pictured, there is no bad odor, and I they will work for my organization plan.
