Great tasting water!

I wanted a small pitcher with a filter to put in my Airbnb room for guests to use. I am trying to get away from plastic water bottles. This is a good size for occasional use and for the space I had available. This came with a basic filter so when it is done, I will get the LongLast filter so I won't have to change it as often and it will remove lead from the water as well. Decent price for the product after going to local stores and seeing what was available. I like the ones with the filter change lights on top. This does not have that. There is a vinyl stick on chart with a water dot you place on the month when the filter needs to be changed next. Low tech but adequate for my needs. Good value but I have a larger and fancier pitcher for my personal, everyday use in my kitchen, which I prefer.

I have a Setpower AJ40 42 quart electric cooler in my shop. It's been a life saver during the hot summers. I hate that I have to trek all the back to my house to get filtered water though. This thing is so small it fits perfectly on one side of my cooler. I still have room for 25x 12oz cans. For a 40oz water bottle, however, you'll need 2x hopper fills or 1x full brita pitcher's worth of water. No matter, though, I just fill it back up, wait a second, fill it again and throw it back in the cooler for cold filtered water an hour down the road.

We take this with us when traveling across the US and internationally. We never know what kind of water we’re going to get where we stay. The slim pitcher also fits into a mini fridge. In our suitcase it is stuffed full of clothing so it doesn’t break. One of the filters last long enough for a trip and we just throw it away before heading back home. It is so nice to not have to buy tons of plastic water bottles when we can just filter our own. It also filters quite quickly.

I was buying bottled water, getting old, though, not able to hoist the bottles any more, and then it struck me, I could get a water filter. Not one like the one I had lots of times, attached to the sink, impeding the flow of water and wearing out, getting dirty, breaking down. This slim purified water system is so simple, it can be cleaned easily, if necessary. This old person can still hoist five cups at a time. I saved some water bottles and fill a couple every day. You can’t be lazy if you want pure water. But this five cup purifier works for me.

Lightweight and compact to fit a small refrigerator. Excellent filtration for great-tasting water.
