Needed new mixing bowls because some of the other ones I had that were ceramic had broken and had cracks in them so basically they were unusable because it would be sanitary, etc. These were great. I’m not expensive but they have a good construction design and they’re usable. I would recommend anyone that wants an inexpensive mixing bowl set. This would be the one you wanted to get because they have many sizes. You have a little one a little bigger one than that then a bigger one than a real big one so any size you want you’re gonna get them like I say they also clean up really good I mean just a swish of a little soap water with a rag and the rinse them off and they’re ready to go where is the ceramic ones I had before you had to wait till they dried and that was always Torture to wait for them so you could make similar things to make, etc.

The bowls are pretty decent. They have a small lip under the handle, which is nice. The fact that they are microwaveable was the most important factor to me. My other thick plastic set is not microwaveable and the glass bowls get too hot and there are no handles. My husband has Parkinson’s so a handle is essential in the times he uses them himself. That’s not often, but when he tries to help the handle is essential. The only reason I removed a star is somehow a batch got mixed up because I ordered yellow bowls and the next to smallest bowl is tan. Some sets are multicolor, I ordered all yellow. It’s not a big deal, it’s a bowl and functions the same so who cares. There are much bigger problems in the world to worry about. I would purchase them again if needed. They are durable enough and wash up easily. They stack easily and lay low enough to store in a cupboard. The extra lip on the handle I love, it makes using them easier. Good value for the cost.

They do have a good handle and pour spout. There is a size for anything you would need. They are very thin and lightweight, the largest bowl can be bent easily. The color is actually more of a brown. When I took them out of the box they had a very strong plastic/ chemical smell. I don’t think I will be using them in the microwave.
