Easy to use and to me safer to use. I really like it.

Good quality for the price.
I made a base from a plastic cutting board that I fasted 1/2 inch fences on to hold the cutter and catch box in place. When rapidly slicing, the two pieces moved away from each other. Otherwise it functions as described.
