Does it soften water?

AquaBliss shower filters reduce Chlorine, pesticides, and they also control scale buildup, dirt, and bad odors It doesn't make the water slick feeling if that's what you mean. It has made my skin feel so much better since using it.

Does it come with a filter/spare filter?

It comes with one filter - no spare - which lasts for 6 months before needing to be changed.

Can this be attached somehow to a shower that is attached by hose that is fed from a top feeding bath mixer tap?

Is it compatible with water that contains chloramine? A customer review from 2019 claimed the product will not function properly in such water
