Secure Denture Adhesive Cream, Zinc Free Denture Glue, 1.4 oz, 4 Pack

This adhesive works wonderful. I am a new denture wearer and was struggling with the moving all the time. I did my research on this type of product. I was told by some that the Fixodent's and Poligrip's were horrible. Plus, I have a very sensitive mouth. I found this one and liked what people were saying. The only thing that made me nervous was the the alcohol. The directions were easily followed, and they did say that you could wait a few minutes to let the alcohol dissipate before putting them in, that is what I do. I use the sensitive one and if I wait the few minutes, I don't get any burn at all. If I don't wait, I get I sometimes get a very tiny tingly feeling. It doesn't burn or hurt, and it goes away quickly. I do have a hard time figuring out the correct amount to use. Some days I get it right some days not. No matter if I put too little or too much, they always stay in place, it only affects the length of time they don't move and how much. The other thing as well is if you aren't leaving your dentures in a good 10-12 hrs, you will have goop left on your gums. You may have some anyways, but more if you don't leave them in long enough. In the directions it does say you can use vegetable oil to get it off. I have done this and it works great. I put it on a piece of paper towel and gently rub where it is and it comes off easily. All in all this glue is easy to use, easy to get off and works really great. It is also good for sensitive mouths. I definitely recommend this.

This may just be the best product I’ve ever used. I’d like to reserve that judgment for after I’ve used it for a week or so. But the first day I used it, my denture stayed in like it was superglued in! I’m able to put lots of pressure in places I couldn’t before because my plate would rock. I can literally feel the pressure in the roof of my mouth as I use my front teeth, it really is a unique experience. The cleanup is not that bad. During removal, large sections peel out at once instead of having a mouth full of slime. That’s not to say I didn’t have residue on my gums, I did. But it peels out in larger sections. I’m really impressed. Will update after I’ve been using for a while. UPDATE:8/6/22 Ok..now I can say without a doubt that this really IS the best adhesive on the market hands down! Don’t even bother trying the others, they don’t have what it takes for you to eat things like macadamia nuts, overcooked steak, and beef jerky….you heard me, I can eat beef jerky! All that along with 3-4 cups of hot coffee throughout the day and I DONT HAVE TO REAPPLY! That said, Pigging out on beef jerky is possible but not advisable. The adhesive will hold but your denture might not be able to take the stress. I have an extra denture, a EAD (embarrassment avoidance denture) and also a third one being made to mount on my dental implants so I don’t worry about breaking mine. In fact I’ve kind of been testing these to see just how strong they really are. So far, no fractures or breaks. But none of that would even be possible if the adhesive released under pressure. Secure absolutely does not. And my denture wobbles all over my mouth without it. I’d starve to death if it weren’t for secure. In fact I lost 14 lbs before I found Secure! I was eating a diet of Gerber baby food! If I’ve had it on less than 6 hours, it takes a water pic with hot water to break the seal. After six hours, without the water pic, I have to really pull and tug hard to get the seal to break. I can’t find this product anywhere locally, so I stocked up, 24 tubes. Also tried the liners. They work just as well but are just thick enough to make my denture ride slightly lower which caused a sore spot on my gums. But still, same hold, less clean up….I’ll keep them for emergencies. ‘Waterproof’ is not exactly the adjective that fits the SECURE adhesive because it’s not really. But I guess they use that word because there’s not another word for “ turns into a super thick gel similar to soft chewing gum”. Lol! Which is the perfect description because, I read in the included information, that’s actually the secret behind the chemistry of this product. So yes! I’ll be using this product as long as I require a strong adhesive for my dentures! I fully recommend it to anyone who has dentures that flop around like a fish out of water when attempting to chew a saltine cracker lol! If you’ve got sore spots all over your gums, just run a regular bead of product around the denture and then right before you put them in, dab a pea size amount where your sore spots are. Great cushioning.

I have bought several different kinds of denture adhesive. This one actually does better than what it advertised. I've been able to eat anything I want without worry. The denture stay in place for 2 to 3 days until you take them out to clean them. They clean up really quick and easy. No nasty sticky paste stuck in your mouth.

Some of the best denture adhesive i've ever used. I first used this brand back in 2015 when I first got dentures, but i quit using it for a while due to how hard it was to find and the price. The tubes are tiny, and about half the size of OTC brands, so i stopped using it and started using another brand. However recently the other brand (poligrip) changed their formula or something, because it no longer lasts or feels secure, and started to feel spongey even, which is annoying when you're trying to talk. Turns out that the other brand i've been using just released a brand new product type which costs more, i think they altered their lower tier product so that they could come out with a new tier that costs more. Only thing that makes sense. So back to Secure, man i missed it! Only complaint i have is how hard it is to clean off the denture, and thats due to how good of a product that it is. Soaking in hot water works, which is what we all should be doing with them while we sleep anyways, not not a real issue. The no color, and and flavor is another thing I love about Secure. You can taste your food, and not your teeth. It also acts as a cushion, not a spongey cushion, but just a soft layer between your gums and the denture so that you don't get sores from rubbing or pressure. I'm sticking to this brand! I gave 4 stars mainly due to the price and size of the tubes.

Zinc free was the 1st reason for trying this product. I use zinc at times as an immune builder to thwart off colds etc. and for other things on a case by case basis. Next biggie is it's waterproof composition for the other few trials I find water does affect bond hold in other products. I find no fault with hold with this product. The hold seems more secure with this formula. The consistency to me is easy to mold in my dentures(full upper, partial lower) with large gaps. Can build for good gap filling and good hold. This just takes trying different amounts and learning how to custom fit your teeth. Seals out foreign substances pretty well. The best part of this product is the relative ease of cleanup of the goopity goop that left in my mouth after I remove my dentures. With the other two I've tried it seems as though I have to scrape hard and long to remove the goo from my tongue and inside of my mouth. With secure the goo is there but if I let it sit a bit it seems to skin over and has the consistency and texture more like bubble gum that I can then roll into balls or pull into threads and because it sticks well to itself its looses some of that goopity goop texture and becomes more manageable to remove without heavy scrapping just ball it or pull threads and place on a napkin. It's a decent product at a fair price that seems to be easy to use for me. This product suits me fine and hopefully I don't need to try alot of other products. I hope that this helps some of you with denture fitting needs. Their's a lady on YouTube that tries many different products and gives her own points of view to different products that may help you find good products that fit you. I find that the hold with secure is best if you apply to dentures set them down and let them rest and skin over abit place in mouth bite down with steady pressure. If I want the best hold I just keep steady pressure denture to denture for ten minutes or so. And lastly eating sugar seems to break down the bond quickly with the 3 products I've tried. I've used Secure for the last 9 years exclusively. It would hold my Dentures easily 2 to 3 days if I wanted it to but I would take them out at night and clean them. I didn't have to worry about my dentures coming out or slipping It had some amazing adhesive that the other denture adhesives just did not have. The other adhesives would not last the day and I tried them all. I was so satisfied with Secure! it's all I used. It was a real game changer for me. No longer was I nervous going out to dinner with friends and having my dentures slip or even pop out. I would usually make an excuse that I had a late lunch at work and I'll get a doggy bag and bring it home. It really started to affect my social life. I didn't want to go out and especially not for dinner. Some close friends were worried why I didn't want to go out to dinner an the clubs I finally told my friend what was going on and he just laugh and said don't worry we are your friends! Anyways I had tried maybe 5 or 6 of the most popular adhesives. They were all the same usually I had to clean and reapply the Adhesive 2 times a day. It really sucked big time. Then I found Secure on amazon and placed an order. I've never seen Secure in the stores. No biggie. The day I got it and gave it a try it lasted 2 days. It really worked great holding my dentures in place. for 2 -3 days. I can eat most anything with Secure. It was a real game changer. It Amazing. It's all I've used these last 9 years. It's been working for the first 7 years. But these last 2 year I have been very disappointed and truly dissatisfied. Something was changed in the Adhesive formulation. It's terrible I have to carry some with me and now between 2-3 times a day I have to clean and reapply Secure. It's no longer a game changer that it was. its no different then any other denture adhesives in my view. I don't know what they have done to Secure but now I fix my dentures sometimes 2-3 times a day. What Happened to Secure!!! A year and a half ago I wrote a letter to Secure Company to find out what had changed in my Secure Adhesive. I never heard back from them with a answer! It's just Shameful that a company can treat a customer of 9 years like this. SHAME ON YOU SECURE. I WANT THE ORIGINAL FORMULA BACK THAT CHANGED MY LIFE NOT THE CURRENT SECURE FORMULA THAT NEEDS TO BE REAPPLIED 2-3 TIMES PER DAY. I hope this can help the others with the same experience with the current Secure. I love the old Secure please can you bring it back??

This adhesive was recommended to me by the dentist and his dental hygienist that actually adjust and make dentures. They say a lot of their patients recommend this adhesive so when I brought my son who had to unfortunately get a full set of dentures him being a new denture where she recommended this adhesive for the bottom because the bottom is always the hardest to keep in your mouth your tongue pushes it out out of the way food tends to get underneath of it only because there’s a smaller portion of gum versus the top denture so I purchased a two pack. It came in that option and I tried it out first and I bought one for my son for the next time he comes over. I love on the packaging how it says less is more. I had already explain that to him even before buying this adhesive and I had bought him another type of adhesive as well as a powder for me. I think powder works best on the top denture and I think that adhesive paste works best on the bottom denture so I always told him less is more because if you put more on there, it will ooze over the sides in your mouth. It will gag you and I liked that on the box of this, that is the absolute first thing you see and read less is more so great marketing pitch point very accurate statement. I did try it out this morning and I did eat some white cheddar popcorn, which normally with regular powders or adhesive around the first bite, that would be it for me. The denture would already be loose and I would have a hard time eating the remainder of the popcorn because for me food tends to get underneath the bottom denture very easily so I was able to eat that today with no problem. Nothing got underneath the denture did stay secure, but I do know that by the time it was time to eat dinner that the adhesive had already worn off now I did put this denture in my mouth around 8 o’clock this morning like I said, I drink hot coffee water. I had a protein shake. I ate some popcorn and by dinner time I would’ve needed to replace the adhesive to eat dinner so it did last a good full eight hours it kept the denture in place. I was able to eat food without it getting underneath the bottom denture. I did not try it on the top denture so I definitely probably need to give it a few more tries and maybe update my review but so far so good.

This is literally the best venture he I’ve ever found for the last six years. I suffer with extreme dry mouth. I get denture, abrasion, or abrasions on my gums for my dentures a lot from the dry mouth it fitting dentures, sort of because of weight loss and lasting longing filling not shifting or pain of any sort. I’ve been searching for this for like over six years. I recommend it to anyone I’m going to buy more right now.

This adhesive is an amazing product and has been a true game changer! I've tried many other adhesives and this one is far superior. It gives an excellent hold, lasts all day, drinking hot coffee, tea or "fizzy" drinks doesn't loosen it. It does take a bit more work when cleaning your denture compared to other adhesives but it's well worth it. I've also bought the Secure Cleansing tablets to help remove any buildup from the glue. I only have to use those once a week. I've been using this stuff for months now and would never go back to the other ones. I'd highly recommend this especially if you're finding other adhesives just aren't lasting for you!
