Hey . . . It's light weight AND "affordable" (cheap) ! ! PERFECT for ME for backpacking. I take sturdier, heavier, more expensive cookware when car camping cause I cook for more people AND they get abused. I choose just a few of these to take for the meals I am planning so the weight is not an issue and I have great fexibility in what I can have for great meals. These DO require carefull care or they can be expected to dent and wear much worse than your $300 kitchen set. Mine look and work very good. I only use plastic implements and even then gently . . . and wash them carefully . . . and use "blue" paper towels inside to protect the non-stick. Watch your fire ! ! You can easily over heat these. It really doesn't take much to cook with. They DON'T work on induction stoves - they're aluminum. NOTE: The handle may be difficult to insert at first. After inserting the handle, gently squeeze it closed a few times and it will "shape" the receiver on the pan to fit the handle much better. My only wish . . . . is for lighter weight handle and more of them. Amazon recommends the DiamondBack Pot Gripper by GSI.

Went camping over the weekend and these pots and pans did just the trick. The size was perfect for my needs and packed up small enough that I could carry them in my pack. The quality seems to be good and the non-stick coating really came in handy when cooking bacon, and eggs. No oil was required which was good because with the temperature that I camped in, the oil would not have performed well. I would recommend these for 2 people meals. If you are cooking for a family these can do it, you just have to be wise in how you prepare your food so that you can utilize all the pots. Keep in mind that the pans double as tops to the pots so if you have to boil water and need to top, you'll loose a pan. I used these both as pans and pots. I was able to boil water and fill my water bladder using the large pot. I recommend these and I am so glad that I have them.

Purchased this set for a few bucks less vs. the popular Texsport Scouter Cookset. There are both more and larger sized pots/pans in this Kangaroo Cookset, yet it still nested into a very compact bundle. Worked better for us, with such little pots/pans we typically need more than only one or two in use for each meal which may be something to consider if you are not traveling solo or deuce. Was concerned about the single, detachable handle and agree the set would benefit greatly from a second handle. Also it is true, a single handle can be rather inconvenient when there are multiple pots working particularly with the lids on. Still, the set did everything and more than we threw at it and we were very happy to have the additional pots/pans/lids. The lids double as frying pans, something the other set didn't have, and the non-stick surfaces clean up super easy. I cut thin cardboard rounds to place between pots to protect the surfaces when nested and in the carry net.

For the money you get allot of pots and pans. They are super easy to clean (I used a silicone scrubber so not to scratch the non-stick coating). They are super non stick, no trouble scrambling eggs.... they came out very easily with only a few drops of oil used! Highly recommend for your car camping kit! Especially if you are feeding a family (we were camping with 5 people and they worked perfect).

This set contains 3 pots and 3 pans that double as lids for the pots. Also included is a handle, an elastic strap to hold them together, and a mesh bag for ease of carrying/washing. The set held up well on our camping trip. We used them on a two-burner camp stove. The bottoms of the pans are a grooved aluminum, so they distribute the heat evenly. They are thin enough to be relatively lightweight, but not so thin that they dent easily. We cooked 4 different meals for the two of us with these, and they were the perfect size. I would recommend against using metal utensils, as these do have a non-stick coating. This coating truly works; nothing stuck to the pans. This also made cleanup a snap! I do wish that the set came with another handle, as switching between two cooking pans was a bit tricky at times. This is not enough reason for me to dock a star, as I knew the set came with one handle by the description. I expect these will last through several years worth of camping trips, and I will definitely replace with the same set when they finally do wear out.

I can't say that I would recommend this set. We've had it for two years now and have been camping with the set 7-8 times. The handle is pretty loose on a cpuple of the pans and the paint has faded quite a bit. The nonstick has held upnok, but they are very very thin pans. Thatakea them nice and light, so if that's important to you, than I suppose you may like the set. I also don't like that there is no clips on the pots or anything else to hold them together. They do come with a bag that they all fit in, but my last set had clips built in so it was all self contained. I would have stuck with the old set, but it got ruined in a fire.

Al principio tenía duda si quedarme o no el juego de sartenes, yo estaba buscando una sartén para preparar cosas fritas o asadas, así que buscaba un sartén que no fuera hondo. Esta batería está excelente. Es cierto que no es precisamente ligero, de hecho es pesado si lo cargas en la mochila de camping, sin embargo se siente muy sólido y el tamaño está perfecto, utilicé la olla más grande para preparar unos chilaquiles para 3 personas y el tamaño está perfecto, puedes revolver los totopos sin que se salgan de la olla y sin que se rompan o se batan; la sartén más grande (que puede servir de tapa a la olla más grande) funciona perfectamente también para preparar huevo revuelto sin tener que estar batallando porque se salga todo de la sartén. La batería viene en un color entre rojo/tinto/morado la verdad es que se vé bien, en las fotos se vé mucho más morado de lo que en realidad es, y es de acabado satinado, no es cromado ni brillante. Se vé bien el color. Es cierto que es un poco pesado, pero la batería se ve sumamente resistente. Lo recomendaría si van a viajar de campamento en un auto o camioneta, y lo evitaría si vas a salir en moto o bicicleta porque así está pesado. Pero si vas tu solo conviene mucho los tamaños más pequeños que trae la batería. La verdad es que por el precio está perfecto, dado que obtienes 3 ollas y 3 sartenes por menos de 150 pesos cada utensilio. Pero sin duda superó mis expectativas, no creo que se vayan a arrepentir, a menos que busquen algo ultraligero, esta no sería opción. Muy buen producto.

Las piezas son variadas y sirven para toda ocasión, 3 de ellas pueden ser recipientes de liquidos y las otras 3 serian sus tapaderas o hacer las veces de sartenes de diferentes tamaños, el recibrimiento es bueno y si es antiadherente, la pintura exterior es delgada y se gasto rápidamente pero esa parte no afecta a su desempeño, recomendable para uso una cosina rápida, el mango que sujeta las piezas es muy util y si se puede acomodar fácilmente, muy recomendable para uso en exterior.
