Wonderskin Wonder Blading Lip Stain Peel Off Masque - Long Lasting, Waterproof and Transfer Proof Nude Lip Tint, Matte Finish Peel Off Makeup (Adore Masque)

I was very sceptical to try it. My lips have been dry and flaky my whole life, and the older lip stains in the past from other brands which are drippy and watery tend to just clump in the dry parts of my lips, creating a very uneven tone. Lipsticks never worked very well either - they all eventually dry and cake up on my lips unevenly. Finally, a product that gives me an even and natural lip colour enhancement without gathering in the dry parts of my lips. I bought it in Charming as I am light-medium skin tone, and a Winter colour analysis season, and I need something with a bit more colour on my lips and in a red or berry shade to look my best. This is it - Charming is indeed, an accurate medium berry shade lip colour. My natural lip colour is very pale pink, almost whitish. This however, gives my lips a rosy, berry coloured tint. It looks like I put lipstick on. Because my lips are always dry, they need lip balm applied every few hours on to keep them moist. It used to be that applying lip balm with whatever lip colour product I use would cause the lip colour to smear or fade. That meant constant reapplication, which is tiresome. I'm low maintenance. This product is the holy grail! Now I can use lip balm on top of it to keep my lips moisturised, while not having to reapply lip colour constantly. I'm sold! I've bought Adore, XOXO, and Glamorous as well. Adore is like a peachy rose, very natural peachy tint. XOXO is more of a natural rosey shade, so as you can see in my pictures, Adore has more of a peachy, golden tint compared to XOXO. Adore and XOXO are what Wonderskin calls "fresh tints" (there are 3 fresh tint shades) they don't offer as much coverage as the other Wonderskin colours. I have two toned lips and the darker edges of my lips are still visible after applying the fresh tint shades. It looks really natural, like I put a tinted lip balm on, but the bonus is it stays all day even when I put my lip balm on, and I don't have to reapply. I don't recommend using fresh tints if you're wanting a more opaque colour coverage. Glamorous is an accurate, classic red, suitable for all skin tones. After applying this product, my lips felt tingly and a bit numb. Very easy to remove product with a wet tissue. I did not scrub my lips at all prior to application, I just put some Aquaphor to moisturise, and colour result was fine, not at all patchy. Whenever lips are moistened (by licking, or in this case, by using a wet tissue to remove the product) and then wiped dry, they inevitably get a bit dry. This is normal for my lips, and the lip stain is not to blame for this. I simply put on some Aquaphor afterwards and my lips are good to go. Lasts for a good few hours. Micellar water removes a large amount of the stain, so I use it to remove any leftover stains at night before bed, or if the stain is too much, I dampen it by wiping with tissue soaked with micellar water.

Colour is lovely. Application easy. It must be my lips bit it doesnt last as long as they claim in the ads. Wouldn't pay full price, I got on offer. I have 2 shades and both are really nice. The consistency is buttery and not too thin or thick. It dries down I leave on for a couple minutes, sometimes do an extra layer depending on how vibrant id like it and to see if it will last longer. It does stain really well, not entirely smudge proof for the first 10 minutes, even after wiping off if I rub after the blue removes I do get transfer/smudging but once fully dried down and makeup set I javent noticed any smudging or transfer

I debated buying this for ages because it was a bit pricey! I’m so glad I caved! I’m on my second one now and still love it. This colour is perfect for me, I prefer to have a more subtle colour and this is a natural rose type colour. It applies well and drys quickly and lasts for hours!

They are reasonable lip stains but I wouldn’t say for the price. The smell is nice, they do stay and the texture isn’t horrific. The blue peel off whilst feels a bit gimicky does make for a clear application and peeling off is satisfying. I have a few now, Hush is my favourite. Personally I’ve found using as a lip liner better as they are quite drying, and will show off any dry patches in your lips. Maybelline superstay is half the price and I’ve found it to have more longevity and pigment so I prefer that over Wonderskin for a full lip, but Wonderskin is a better texture.

This was bought as a present and it is amazing. I selected The Lovely colour, even had a go myself and it is really easy to apply and remove. The colour was really nice stayed on for the evening and even made my lips look fuller. Did not have to re-apply as you would do with others.

Our daughter likes the use of the supposed long lasting, it isn't really, lip stain. She finds that she needs to over apply it to get the consistancy and smoothness of what is shown in the photos. It does not seem to overly dry, that could be due to the amount needed to apply, although she does take her time applying it. On occasion she does find it staining also, leaving marks on food, drinks, or people...! Not the best of value, it is expensive and non lasting. She does not like how it makes her lips feel sticky. It just seems overpriced and not great in its application or lasting. Sadly, it just did not work for her.

Bit of a learning curve to applying it vs regular lipstick. Learnt that mistake straight away. But I put it on at 6pm last night. It’s now 1:30pm and my lips are still rose tinted. I’ve showered, brushed my teeth twice, washed my face twice, eaten three times. Definitely worth it. It is rather drying though, although I’m not sure it’s so much that as the cold weather. But I definitely recommend exfoliating and putting some balm on your lips a little while before application.

I bought this because it was strongly recommended by a friend. Actually I bought two colours. The application is fine. I love the violet smell and the dark purple on the lips is entertaining. It's not difficult to remove the purple layer (I leave it for slightly longer than recommended as I found that the stain didn't develop enough). Wipe with a damp tissue - although I found that it doesn't come off smoothly. I had to keep wiping and checking for some time as it left lots of tiny dark purple flecks on my lips, skin and teeth. The colours are both pretty and I love the berry stained look. I didn't find the colour uneven, but my lips aren't particularly dry in the first place, so that helps. And I like that I can wear lip balm over it without removing the colour as I like to use balm and without it, this stain felt quite dry. But for the price, I'd expect it to last longer. It doesn't. It lasts better than a lipstick, but not as long as other stains I own that cost a lot less. And the novelty purple application means it's not something it's convenient to carry around and reapply. I like it, but probably not enough to buy it again.
