Sadly about 5 yrs ago Abbott stopped putting their great branded blue lancing device in their Freestyle Lite Glucose Meter kit. Had to get a new meter abd wow.... The cheap generic black gray one they included is horrible...it fails, hurts, etc. I have been looking for a replacement. This one came today and set on a 3, it makes an ever so tiny prick that is perfect for my skin. Smooth. Used it several times today. Really liking it. Reminder: It is for only one user due to sanitation and safety purposes. All of these lancing devices spray droplets of blood on and in the device every time it is deployed. There are disposable single use devices if needed.
