Please be aware that I’m not using these BROTREE Locking Carabiner Clips for hiking or heavy outdoor activities. Instead, I’ve been using them for over a year to keep all my keys together and to attach various items to my camera bag or backpack — and they’ve been absolutely fantastic for that purpose. These carabiners are made from high-grade aluminum, and you can really feel the quality. Despite being lightweight at just 27 grams each, they’re incredibly strong and rated at 12KN (about 1200 kg), which is far more than I’ll ever need for everyday use. They feel solid, sturdy, and very reliable. One thing I really appreciate is the smooth finish. There are no sharp edges anywhere, so they never snag on straps, fabric, or pockets. That’s a big plus when using them on camera gear and bags. The screw-gate locking mechanism works perfectly — easy to operate with one hand yet secure enough to prevent accidental opening. Even after a year of daily use, the carabiners show no signs of rust or wear, which speaks well of the materials and build quality. They’re advertised for camping, hammocks, hiking, fishing, and more, but they also make excellent key holders or leash hooks in everyday life. Just remember: not for climbing. I wouldn't use these for any rope climbing but for light-weight and sturdy clips well worth the money. Solid product at a good price.
