BLUM are second to none! The quality, rigidity, ease of installation is just superior. Best believe these will be long lasting. If you are big box shopping for drawer slides, you should double think!

I have used these slides in a number of projects and really like the ruggedness and smooth action. I think this company invented the soft close design and have consistently impressed me every time I have used them. I don’t use anything else. I first used them on a desk drawer I made 20 years ago and it is still working perfectly. I love the full extension and smooth action plus the high weight capacity.

I used these for the first time on a cabinet I made for my daughters house. They came with very good instruction. But actually they are not hard to install. You just need to get these before you build your drawer boxes. There is info in the instruction that will tell you how wide the boxes should be based on the width between the drawer slides and the length of the drawer slides. That is critical when you go to install everything. But the instruction are very helpful for all that. I will definitely use these again. There are videos to watch on YouTube as well for this specific brand. When you are done you will see how “easy” it is for future builds.

As an amateur/student cabinet maker, I've only used the old-school epoxy drawer slides on my projects-Not because they're attractive or smooth but only because they're the easiest to install (so I thought). After slightly upgrading the quality of my work, I wanted to greatly upgrade the quality of slides. With some trepidation about the reportedly complicated install process, I decided to try the best. These Blum full extension, soft close slides operate like a dream! They're hefty but glide oh so smoothly and quietly. As for the install process, let me say two words...Jon Peters! If you watch Jon's utube video on how to build the drawers for, and install these slides and, follow his directions exactly, you absolutely cannot go wrong. I must emphasize the part about following his directions exactly. After watching Jon's video, I was able to successfully install these slides on my first try. Part of my success was the fact that these slides are more forgiving than the sidemount slides when it comes to being exact with your measurements. Trust me, if I can do this, any woodworker can. I do have to say that these slides are very easy to install if you're making the drawers from scratch. If you're going to try to retrofit these slides to an existing drawer, that process will be greatly complicated as these slides require very specific drawer dimensions as Jon Peters clearly explains. So, fear not, you can do this!

Appears to be a very well-made product. Unfortunately, the instructions are extremely hard to understand (as others have noted). Pictures are too small to see details, steps are not explained in sufficient detail. Never seen such a bizarre disconnect in build quality vis-a-vis documentation. Sloppy packaging looks like it was wrapped by a toddler. Appears to be a used item. Won't know until after install if parts were damaged or not. Xeroxed copies of instructions crumpled and hard to read. The TANDEM template was not included in my package. Other parts may be missing as well - hard to tell because no parts list was present. Instructions say: "Use of the T65.1600.01 TANDEM template is essential for accurate location and angle of pre-bored locking device holes and accurate boring for rear hook holes." In sum: Avoid MPJ.
