Vilac Wooden Puppet Theatre, Fairy Tales (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Beautifully done, but not built very sturdy. Will have son reinforce the wood framing and stabilize the whole unit so that it wont tip over so easily. A good "base" from which to work with to make it a great theatre.

We bought this puppet theatre for our grand-daughter - she is 2 1l2 years old! Very colorful and attractive on the outside. . . and just the right size for her! Wnen we were putting the theatre together, we inserted the upper piece (above the window) and the sides of the theatre fell away . . . the staples were not strong enough to hold the structure together. The curtain string, as well, was just staped on . . . and thus fell away. My husband had to repair it by using screws to stabilize the sides of the structure, etc. I think it should have been made this way to begin with . . . should have been better construction in this area for sure . . . we had expected something very well made for the price we paid for it. Now it looks like it is going to be okay.

My daughter loves her new puppet theater. Buyer beware; however, ours arrived damaged with hardware installed upsidedown. The hinge pins dropped out on their own every few minutes. Even if they had been right side up they were rather wiggly and loose. We invested $5 in new hinges and it is a great little product. The picture doesn't show the extra support braces that can be attached at the bottom of the side walls. We chose to not attach ours because it is stable enough and they would prevent the theater from folding flat for storage. I have purchased from Amazon hundereds of times before and have always been pleased until now. This time they sent a shredded box repacked inside a nice new box with missing hardware and one of the hinges broken off. It really looked like it had been cut open and returned by a previous customer and then resent by Amazon to us in a broken and unusable state. A trip to the hardware store the day after Christmas, $5, and a complete rebuild and the product is in good shape.

This puppet theater is adorable but my husband had to spend a lot of time remaking it! The quality is really poor ...

The look is very beautiful but the quality is super terrible it is made of very weak materials when i received it it was already damaged and i tried to fix it but nothing worked my daughter could only use it once and barely very disapointed i had my hopes very high!!!!

this is a beautiful puppet theater but when we opened it numerous staples had come out which made it fall apart and chip a little. thank goodness I had a staple gun. Wish it was put together a little stronger and packaged better. after it was fixed, the best looking theater I have seen

needed to reinforce with staples on all connections as other reviews. but cute and kids love it.

Very cheap. came broken. keeps falling appart. waste of money. do not buy.
