Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy Powder Plus Focus, Tangerine Wave, 9.5 Oz

This is a clean product, easy to use. Easy to mix, and the container barely needs a rinse when you're through. I put mine, after mixing, in the fridge. Tastes even better when ICY cold in the summer! Gives me a great, sustained burst of energy to get my workout or extensive cleaning, done. No jittery effects, noted. Texture is great. Dissolved in water, it's indiscernible. Great value for the dollar. If 100mg of caffeine causes you problems, use one scoop, not two, and see if that helps.

I buy this all the time. I've found this brand the best. It has all the essential amino acids and tastes good.

I've had this on my subscribe and save for at least a year if not two. Really enjoy the product, a small amount of caffeine to keep me going on long bike rides. Aminos and electrolytes to keep you replenished. Here is the problem. Now I could be wrong, but I remember them providing a long handled scoop, but maybe I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. They now come with a scoop that isn't even half the height of the container, so once you get down to a 1/4 or so remaining you basically are scraping your knuckles to get to the powder. Two options: 1. Shorten your container, as it comes less than half full. 2. Provide an adequate scoop so it isn't a struggle to get to the bottom of the container. Again, this should be a 5* rating from a long time customer, but as I am finishing a container(I dumped the last 1/4 into my next tub) and have been irritated by it the last few days, here we are.

I've tired all 4 flavors of the Optimum Nutrition + Hydration. To keep it simple, if you want something super sweet, i'd recommend the strawberry/watermelon flavor. Both strawberry and watermelon, give candy flavor, not a refreshing flavor. Least sweet and easier to chug is the tangerine, it very fresh especially if you add ice. Mid tier, would be pineapple. Can't really complain, but would be my 2nd choice.

Like the flavor. Dissolves easily. Value for money.

This would be a perfect energy powder (for me) if the L-Theanine content were cut in half. 200mg is just too much per serving. I find myself energized and focused initially and then end up spacy and lethargic after the caffeine falls off its peak. In my experience, 100mg is the sweet spot when mixed with caffeine. I also wish it were a bit less sweet. Otherwise it’s a solid drink.

Simple but effective. You don’t need much stim to be great.

Helps well and does it's job as mentioned. I use it for workouts and it does show a difference in performance. I am picky about the taste and texture and this product is of high quality. The orange flavour tastes like orange flavour of Tang which is delicious. I have tried Xtend (slightly different formulation) but it was substandard and caused sore throat on every consumption.

Reduce the mixture size as the caffeine is very strong.
