I wish it was longer....
First the negative: It was mailed in a manilla envelope, around the holidays, which means my regular mail carrier is on vacation and we have horrible subs who don't respect people's property. As a result, they folded/bent the envelope and crammed it into my mail slot, instead of knocking on my door to hand the package to me. The cover was bent and crumpled and that really sucks because I LOVED the cover design and wanted to take pics of it to put on my Instagram to show my followers. Now I can only show the inside of the book. Ok, so that was not the fault of the manufacturer, but the person who packed my book in the envelope is just as responsible as the mailman. Now, here's why I gave it 5 stars: It's a nice sized book, with large print (which I need since hitting middle age), and thick paper so that your entries shouldn't bleed through. There is ample line space to answer the questions, but if you need more, you could always photocopy the pages and enlarge them, to put in a binder, and then just write on college ruled paper. It's not JUST a gratitude diary though... it's so much more. Just flipping through the pages, I see topic starters like, "music I enjoyed today" or "food I enjoyed today" or "people I enjoyed spending time with" etc... so that's where the diary aspect comes into play because it gives you the opportunity to record memories, not just make gratitude lists. These writing prompts keep it fresh. The very first activity asks you to list things you are thankful for but don't always take time to appreciate it and for me, this is a challenge because I've been using gratitude programs for several years and have retrained my brain to look for the positives in even the worst situation. So I'd like to think that I appreciate everything that happens, even the bad stuff because I've found ways to see the positive.... so the fact that this first question actually has me stumped, and searching, means that the book is thought provoking and forces you to be mindful of what you're writing. I love that. I'm really looking forward to starting this one. I plan to begin using it on January 1st. It might have been on sale when I bought it, my order total with tax came to roughly 7.00 and based on how useful this will be, I think it's an excellent value. I also like that the book isn't religious. At least, if it is, I haven't found it yet. I am an athiest who believes in the Gaia Hypothesis. Often times, gratitude is tied to religion, but it doesn't have to be. And from what I've seen, this book would appeal to those who are spiritual but not religious. Now, if I see the word God anywhere in this book once I actually start using it, I will come back here and change my review, as well as lower the stars to 3. LOL.

It works when used daily as suggested
I am on about my 7th gratitude book. I fill it out daily. It causes you to look for things to be grateful. This is a positive thing because it causes you to think about all the positives we often take for granted. I can say this book has changed my life for the better. If you don’t use it daily you’ll not benefit. If you do, you will have a much more grateful and positive life.

Has helped me to appreciate the good
I ordered 9 of these at one time so that I could give some to my yoga students. About half of them had some kind of smudge on the cover -- maybe the cover is just prone to smudging. But I've been pleased with the questions and have been doing the exercises regularly. Overall the book has served it's purpose -- to remind me of what's good and to also notice what things are not in my life that I could add to experience more joy.

Good topic ideas inside.
I love this journal. I showed it to my therapist and she had to buy one for herself.

This book changed my life!
People have told me for years to keep a gratitude journal. I've tried but have never been able to really stick with one until this one. I love that it is undated because some days, you will forget. I also love that it not only leaves room for three things to be thankful for, but each day it asks a question, whose answer drives your mind to think positively as well. Even on those days you'd rather do over, this book will prompt you to focus on the best parts of the day. It builds on itself and it's really helping me to focus on the positives overall. With 45 in the White House, I thought that would be impossible for me, but it isn't. This book is really helping me to focus on things I can do something about, and to focus on all the best parts of every day. You can't go wrong with this purchase. And it's made in USA, by a company who cares about producing the best product it can. I'm proud to support them.

Serves its Purpose
I’ve been writing in it everyday for a month. It’s basic...every morning you write either what you’re grateful for or thankful for. In the evening the questions are more diverse. Questions range from what music I listened to, to something that made me laugh. The varying questions are great, but some days I’ve had an awesome day and haven’t listened to any music...or participated in the activity that’s written down so I have to write in something else.

Encouraging
I purchased these for my lady clients that are homeless and experiencing great struggles. They’re great journals to keep us focused on the little things we can still be grateful for. They are using and enjoying them! :)

A mí me gustó mucho

A simple daily habit that’s made a real difference!
I’ve been using this journal for about a month now, and it’s really helped me take a step back each day and focus on the positives. It only takes a few minutes, but it makes such a difference to how I start and end my day. It’s genuinely been a great start to my journey. I looked at a couple of other journals, but many only lasted 30 days. This one gives you far more value, with a full 90 days (3 months) of prompts, plus 30 day reflection pages that encourage you to pause and think about what’s changed, what you’ve learned, and what you want to work on next. I find those reflection points really motivating, they make you realize the progress you’ve already made, even if it feels small day to day. I like that it’s undated too, although I’ll admit, it actually makes me feel a bit guilty if I skip a day, which I think shows just how much I’ve come to rely on it. The daily questions are short and easy to fill in, but they get you thinking a little deeper. I also love the quotes sprinkled throughout, some are inspiring, others light hearted, but they always add a nice touch. Of course, I’ve still got more work to do on myself, but this has become a small routine that feels achievable and uplifting. For the price and the amount you get, it’s excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a gentle, practical way to bring more gratitude and mindfulness into your life, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try. It’s already helping me build a habit I can see myself keeping up for the long term.
