Nike Sport Armband Case for Apple iPod Nano 1G, 2G, 4G, 5G, 7 gen player - Blue

Had to return no problems good seller would buy off again

I've had a couple of these previously ( diff suppliers) so I am a little disappointed with this purchase because even though I have only used it a few times, the headphone access hole/point is already starting to frey.

such a quick delivery. item itself is so good, after almost half a year is still in the best shape, didnt rip or anything, even though i use it daily. best buy ever

I'm sure this piece of kit is great if you have an old i-pod. I bought it specifically to use with my 5th Gen Ipod with the Nike+ receiver. Where do I start? The headphone jack is on opposite side, the window is too small (regardless if you have Nike+ sensor attached and the wheel is too thick thus not allowing to to access the controls when on your arm. Stay away of you have 4th or 45th Gen Ipod.

I bought this when I started training for 5k and 10k runs and it is great as I could also fit the Nike+ dongle thing on the bottom of my iPod. Definitely recommend it!

Couldnt press the button once ipod was in it, utter rubbish, also the headphone jack in the wrong place, do not buy this!!!

The armband fits my arm well and also holds the iPod securely. No problems when trying to access the iPod settings

Excellent product, does exactly what it says on the tin, the earphone hole is on the left of the product for all us old school nano users! Dont know how I lived without it :)

I have a Generation 2 iPod Nano that is still in amazing shape after 5 years, almost like new. For the last four years I had a Nike Sport Armband, an earlier version of the one I am reviewing. It was great, but after four years and hundreds of miles of running, it was wearing out. So, I was quite lucky to find this product on Amazon, for such a good price as well. My iPod fits snugly into the armband, the slightest more room would be nice, but the tight fit also hold the iPod extremely well. Only time will tell if the fit will wear the product out quicker or not. The fabric allows you to easily adjust the volume and flip through songs as needed. Not to mention you can see the screen which makes it easier to navigate (my old armband did not have this clear cover over screen). Overall, this is an excellent product. It makes running easier as I can listen to my music with ease. The only concern I would raise is how small the Velcro straps are. I have thin arms, so it fits very well for me. However, if you have thick arms I might consider another product. There's nothing worse than an armband that does not fit properly.

I have the latest nano (ipod nano with a tiny touch screen) and this armband is not good for it. #1 you have to put it in backwards for the headphones to fit out the bottom, so you can't control it from the front #2 you can't control it from the front because it doesn't use the little scroll wheel, it has a touch front So it works as an armband just fine, but I can't control anything on my nano!

Not bad.. but it needs a 2nd hole for the ear buds.. at the bottom.. Oh well. Other than that. it is made up of washable material. The IPod does fit in the package.. but you do need to cut a hole in the bottom.

This product is fine if you have thin arms. If you have larger arms, you may find it uncomfortable. The strap is 15" long and 2" of that is the velcro closure, which means you only get about 13" of circumference, unless you want part of the velcro rubbing against your arm. It will stretch some, but feels restrictive when stretched.

I wanted to replace my old Apple-Nike armband, after approximately 7 years of using it, the armband started to lose elasticity, thus not staying firmly in my arm while running, something expected maybe for any neoprene product after 1-2 years of use. I use it 2-3 times a week so I would say this product had already given me more years than I expected originally. The velcro still attaches firmly and even the wearing instructions in the back haven't faded and are still readable! Again, I'm talking about the armband I purchased 7 years ago, in red color. You can't be wrong with this purchase if you use Nike+ while running with your iPod Nano. You can control your iPod, scroll through the wheel, clic, forward and do all the usual iPod commands as if it didn't had a cover. I've tested this product through hundreds of miles I've ran, training and at competitions. After looking around for a while I decided I would buy again the same armband (now in blue color) since I'm fully satisfied with this one.
