Great game to build strategy skills in children and awesome looks!! But if the price seems prohibitive, you can buy Zephyr's "Dog and the Bone" ( built around the same concept )for as low as Rs.450.

It’s a very well thought out game. If chess gets too repetitive then I strongly recommend this. The pieces are well made, the board again, is well made. The rule book is clear but make sure to read properly and in its entirety before playing. I love playing this game.

Tolle, sehr einfache Spielidee ohne viele Regeln. Man ist überrascht, dass wirklich jedes Spiel anders verlaufen kann. Auch der recht schnelle Spielverlauf ist positiv. Ein stetiges hin und her zwischen eigener Taktik und dem reagieren auf die Züge des Gegners. Mir persönlich machen nur die Partien zu zweit richtig Spaß, es läßt sich aber durchaus auch zu viert gut Spielen. Hier sollten aber dann alle vier das gleiche "Verständnis" für das Spiel haben sonst macht es eher wenig Spaß. Klasse Spiel was uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen ist!

Consiglio veramente questo gioco, è un gioco educativo e divertente, il costo è elevato, ma sicuramente scontato molto rispetto al negozio, serve veramente ai bambini per la concentrazione e il ragionamento, pur essendo divertente e competitivo.Una bella soluzione gioco scuola, per fare un regalo diverso ma apprezzato dai bambini il mio ha 8 anni ed è entusiasta per la strategia da usare abbinata alla competizione CONSIGLIATO

This is an excellent strategy game for two or four players that you can learn all of the rules of in less than five minutes. The strategic element, however, can take forever.The goal is simple - get your pawn to the other side of the board, which starts off empty. On your turn you can make one of two moves - either move your pawn one square adjacent, or put down one of your ten fences. The fences are impassable, and you place them to hinder your opponent's progress. The only rule about placement is that you cannot make it COMPLETELY impossible for your opponent (or yourself) to get to the other side. Backtrack the entire way? Go for it!I have only two complaints, neither of which are severe enough to lower this to a four-star ratings.The first is that the pawns are slightly too big, or the board is slightly too small. Because there are notches cut into the board to place the fences in, and the pawns are exactly the size of the space they sit on, it's very easy to knock them around when you're trying to place a fence.The other is that the board could have been better designed to accomodate four players. The gameplay has no issue with four players, and is loads of chaotic fun. There's just no storage space for the 3rd and 4th player to hold their fences, but it's not a big deal, you can just hold them in your hand or on the table. It just seems odd that the game designer built spots for two players to hold fences but not for four.Either way, this is a fantastic game that can be played in under ten minutes with a depth of strategy and simple rules. I highly recommend it.
