LIQUITEX Professional High Gloss Varnish -32 oz

Very glossy finish. Looks whitish but dries clear. Easy to apply.

I have been doing abstract art for almost 6-7 months now , I have painted some masterpiece along the way. One thing that bothered me was to varnish them. I tried it with Brustro but it ended up showing very visible brush strokes. I moved on to spray varnish. I made couple of good paintings and I wanted to varnish them properly and so I bought this liquitex glossy varnish. I fell into love with this product from the very first brush stroke. It was in consistency which did not need any addition of water or any sort of adjustment. No brush strokes whatsoever. It smelled nice as well, the previous one was so pungent and fuming that It would irritate my eyes and nose. The picture I posted is just after the first coat. There are two more coats pending but this in itself is amazing.

It is a clear coat that sits on top of paint. Even after several layers of application, it was uniform and easy to apply. Also secures painting from water damage as well along with dust and air. Just have to make sure, no paint is still wet.

With one coat it gives gloss finish..it is expensive though but i really loved d results..

It's a very good varnish, self-leveling and quick drying. There's only a few minutes window to work before it starts getting tacky. A personal suggestion: don't use a spong brush and you'll save yourself from millions of tiny bubbles. Just apply the way makers suggest - with synthetic brush.

As an Artist I always try to use better products for my Paintings.. and it's very hard to find out a good one.. But this liquitex​gloss varnish is really Awesome.. it's easy to use and it's smooth silky finish is really gorgeous 😍..protects my Paintings very well and got so many compliments also 😊. for me best varnish from all I have used before...

Worked fast and made the paint look glossy and nice. Sadly it do ruin the brush since i cant find a way to neutralise the gloss but thats on me and not the product!

Great varnish. Used it on top of another product to protect my painted picture. The colours were vivid and looked great. I varnished it 2 times and used a sponge brush. This evens out and doesn't leave any streaks, and dries pretty quickly. Highly recommend

I use this all the time. Straight with an .5 airbrush or .8 sprayer. First spray on a far back mist coat at like 6-7 inches and let it set for about 6-7 minutes. Then apply a close up wet coat and you can either let it set up by itself or as I do often use a blow dryer to heat set and then you can re-apply in like 15 minutes. I use the heat setting on high then low then just air to cool. Not too much and always moving air flow location. It works great and puts on a nice gloss. Does it gloss like triple thick krylon or rustoleum? Close but nowhere near as thick which is good when creating certain finishes you want. Also the chance of it running or pooling is very low as you can get hi gloss with minimal product and that’s the difference. The finish comes out much more sheer slick and sans orange peel. It’s different from the createx glosses as it is easier on you when applying since it has no odor or chemicals and leaves a similar hard shell feeling on item. I tend to use this product more than the others by a good margin when laying down acrylics.
