I had another one and the magnets after a couple of weeks stopped working. The magnets on this one keep the putter cover on and closed.

DONT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS OF OTHER PEOPLE THRASHING THESE HEADCOVERS. Yeah if you throw this thing in the blender for a half hour, it will come out all tore up. But if you use it like a normal human, it will be a great headcover that you can use for 30+ years.

This product didn't even last 2 months before the magnet stop closing. It kept falling off my putter on the course. The magnet shifted from the original place. Refund should be given for only lasting a short period of time.
