Fantastic Bass, Great Buy Overall!
I purchased these headphones around five and a half months ago. I managed to get them on sale for around $100 off. I have to say, the price is extremely high, but it is not a total deal breaker because of the experience with the headphones.First of all, I will talk about the sound. I am a huge music lover, so I like really having good sound in my headphones. One reason I purchased the wired version over wireless is because the bass is better on wired. The bass is absolutely incredible. I'm a drummer, so I like to be able to hear the drums and the bass. The drums are so crisp and easy to hear, but not overpowering. The bass is truly incredible. If you get a song with good bass, take off the headphones (Preventing ear damage), and blast it as loud as it can, you can feel the headphones vibrate significantly. With a normal volume and having them on your head, you can really feel the bass.So in summary about the bass, if you want a good experience listening to "Stressed Out" by Twenty-One Pilots, these headphones are right for you. In terms of overall music genres that sound best, I certainly think rock, alternative, and pop without a ton of synthesizers is nice. Any music with a ton of the synthesizers just doesn't sound the best, as I don't think the beats can really deliver the sound they can with the high-pitched synthesizers like it can with guitars and drums. Overall, I feel these Beats Studio 2.0s deliver fantastic sound.Second of all, I'll talk about comfort. These beats are not the least comfortable, yet not the most comfortable. In terms of material, the area around the ear cups appear to be a soft pleather material. The material on the part that would be touching your head is very soft, and feels slightly like the arm rests in the Inscription model of the 2016 Volvo XC90, so it's a very soft, cushiony, material. These headphones are pretty comfortable for me, but if you have them on for an extended period of time, they will make your head a bit sore. I've tried on my friend's Bose Soundlink Mini Wireless headphones, and they are significantly more comfortable than these. They have a pleather material all around what would be touching your head, and they are much lighter. Overall, these get a 4/5 when it comes to comfort.Third of all, I will discuss the build quality. Overall, these Beats do seem very durable. However, I did have an instance where I dropped them from about two and a half feet in the air, while inside the hard zipper case that comes including, and the sound stopped coming out of one ear. I notified Beats about the problem, and they replaced them for free (we had warranty of course). The customer service was very helpful and they replaced them quickly. But overall, these beats are pretty durable. Finally, I will be talking about other cons of these headphones. The major con is that they are priced very high. However, if you can get them on sale, it is definitely worth the bang for your buck. In terms of noise cancellation, these really shouldn't be advertised as noise cancelling. Yes, putting them on does drown out a little noise, but I can easily still hear a conversation around me, the loudness of a school bus, and a classroom with a normal noise level. Also, the charging situation is not ideal. I understand having to charge them to get the noise cancellation, but when these things run out of battery, they won't play any music at all. I think they should take the power from the device to play music when not charged. The battery life is very long however. In conclusion these headphones delivery great sound quality overall, with excellent bass, they are for the most part comfortable, but not the most comfortable, and they are reasonably durable. I would definitely recommend buying these headphones.

Smart, Stylish, Sound Awesome
More like 4.5 stars. I've done a ton of research into this and have bought a handful of different headphones as I use them for 8-10 hrs a day at work. Beats came to me as a gift so I can't speak much for their price though I do agree it is a bit high. But I do own other pairs in that price range and these easily compete. With that said I'll just hit a few pros & cons:Pros:-Incredible sound. I do have an inclination towards rock/hip hop/bass heavy music but I also equally love indie/folk music with big soundstage. I've had Bose, I own high end Sonys and although these Beats are more biased towards the low end, they are still my favorite sound. Rich, clear bumping low end, big soundstage while maintaining the integrity of the highs.-Let's be real here, they look awesome. Maybe they're overrated but own and wear a pair. You will be pleased at how awesome they look on. Their design/build quality is sleek, sturdy and clever. Buttons & remotes all in comfortable places.-Portability is fantastic. They fold up really nicely & come with a sturdy little pod carrying case. The case can even fit their charger so you always have it nearby.Cons:-They are battery dependant (about 20 hrs) so if you're someone who's quite forgetful, they might be a hassle. You need to remember to turn them off every time you're done or you'll find a pair of dead headphones when you come back to them tomorrow. Fortunately, like I said, they come with a charger that's easy to carry around and plug into a computer or wall.-They are quite a tight fit on your head. They're comfortable for a couple hours then the pressure starts to hurt my ears. With that said they're perfect for working out since they don't fall off easily. Just not quite ideal if you plan on using them for very long hours regularly.-And finally, people do mention the hiss from the noise cancelling, which for me is only noticeable at quiet levels and is quickly forgotten about once the music kicks in.Overall, I really love them. They have a few small faults, but if you can work around them they're a fantastic pair of sleek looking, great sounding headphones.

Great Sound, Noise Cancellation & Bass
I love these headphones. They were on sale for $179CAD (PINK ONLY) which was almost half price so I bought them. I already had them in a different colour, but decided to give those to my husband and purchase these. They are amazing for noise cancellation, and the sound is crisp and clear. I love the over ear style due to my smaller than usual ear canals which cannot accommodate many styles of ear buds. These are great for using on airplanes which is why I purchased them in the first place. I received these in the mail less than 24 hours after I purchased them which was lightning fast especially since I selected regular shipping at the check out.The only weird thing (which I wouldn't exactly call a loss) is that the charging block that came in the box is a 2 prong European style which obviously will not work in Canada. However, we visit the Carribean often enough and some of the various countries have this style outlet so it will more than likely still get used.

Great headphones!
I never got a chance to write a review about these headphones, but I will since I do love them. I purchased these since I had broken my previous pair of Studio Beats 1.0 and figured may as well upgrade rather than repair those ones. What a great choice. This upgrade to the 2.0 was well worth it as these are a big step up from the 1.0's. The built in charging capabilities is a big step up from replacing batteries. It is now paired with Apple so you can really see the technology is impacted. From user friendly to design to sound quality. Great headphones, great price.

Best Headphones on the Market
These headphones are the best headphones on the market, if you like to listen to dance, techno, house, tribal, or hip-hop. If your looking to buy headphones to listen to jazz or classical you will be disappointed at how the music sounds, as they are not meant to be used for this these two genres. When you listen to any one of the above genres you will find that you can feel the music, especially the base. If your listening to podcasts you will find it feels as if your physically there yourself.
