Kind of works.
It's the normal car mat, but seems to do the work of trapping litter. The smaller the litter particles , better it traps. Doesn't do a very good job when it comes to clay litter with big balls. The size is only useful for closed litter boxes.

A good mat for your Feline or canine friend.
I purchased this mat so I could place it infront of the cat litter box. The material is soft, rubbery and can capture litter on the cat's feet between its soft paws once it does it's business. I haven't noticed my cat scrape its feet on it, but it seems to prevent the litter sand from falling everywhere. If the cat or dog decides to play with it, I doubt it would last. A coir carpet/mat might achieve the same task though. If you want a neat litter area, then this mat is a must on your purchase list. Even cats and dogs needs to answer nature's call in style.

Traps all the small particles ... I had bought two of these to keep on both the open sides of my litter box ... But one is enough as my cat comes out only one way ... It traps most of the litter particles and is very easy to clean ...
