Excellent picture quality and a huge upgrade from my previous Sony TV. The colors, contrast, and HDR performance are incredible, especially for gaming on PS5. Black levels are outstanding and the image has a very cinematic look. The TV setup was straightforward but had a lot of data collection choices and the build quality feels premium. One thing I noticed on day 1 was some faint vertical tinting in a bright scene, but it disappeared shortly afterward and has not been an issue during normal use. My only frustration was with the shipping process. The estimated delivery date changed multiple times (Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Friday, then Saturday), which made planning difficult. However, this appears to be an Amazon delivery issue rather than a problem with the TV itself. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end OLED for movies, streaming, and PS5 gaming.

To fully appreciate the capabilities of the Bravia 8 II, it is recommended to seek out content that showcases its strengths, such as high-vibrancy animated movies like the Spider-Verse films or HDR gaming, where options are abundant. Specifically, the red tones receive a notable upgrade in many content types. Previously, they tended to exhibit a yellow hue at higher brightness levels, as seen in the fires in Horizon Zero Dawn. In the realm of gaming, several noteworthy enhancements have been introduced. Notably, the inclusion of the game bar and the Dolby Vision game mode stands out. The game bar activates upon pressing the menu button during game mode, presenting a new bar with specific features and settings for customization. Es de lo mejor en video y audio, el único pero que le pongo, es que no despliega en la pantalla cuando se ve una película en hdr o Dolby visión, por lo demás es de lo mejor.

This TV is truly exceptional. I was having a very difficult time deciding among which flagship OLED to get, but what steered me to this one was WhatHiFi's review. And after spending time with this TV I can understand why this is crowned the best. The picture is exceptionally nuanced, detailed, and dimensional. The processing is second to none. My biggest concern was that it lacked raw brightness power of its rivals, and I would be missing out on HDR impact. But it really doesn't seem to be an issue. I've compared this to the Panasonic Z95B at full brightness while playing PS5 games, and surprisingly the Bravia looks more vibrant and perceptually brighter in many scenes to my eyes, despite what the numbers say. Probably due to the exceptional tone mapping and higher color purity of the QD-OLED panel.

I have 2 Lg Oleds, the last one is a c3. The image on this Bravia 8 ii is breathless. My first 4k I watched Fire and Ash, Avatar. I was blown away. I understand the price tag is higher than the G6 of LG but I am very, very happy in choosing The Bravia 8 ii.
