Q: Will this fit a prius 2013 model three when I put the put info in on amazon it says does not fit?

It is not a plug and play installation, this is likely done to prevent those who think it will be from buying and ending up frustrated leading to bad reviews. I installed the kit with minimal trouble on my 2012 Prius model three - There is one very, very good guide on YouTube that you can use for reference and a *lot* of extra unnecessary hookups and wires included in this kit. It will fit, but you do need to tap or intercept a few wires leading to the ODBII connector under the dashboard. Not for the faint of heart but... No more complicated than hardwiring an aftermarket radio.

I believe it's 5 plus the ground wire.

Hello, An add on remote start uses your existing key fob, so the range you get is whatever the range on your current fob is. Our kits are designed to be programmed with your existing fob, and you will press the LOCK button 3 times to remote start your vehicle. You would need to add extra remotes and an antenna in the form of an upgrade kit from us, in order to extend your range. Thank you, MPC
