Worked beautifully (once I connected power to it)
I bought this to use with a Turing Pi 2 cluster board and, once I added auxiliary power to it using an extra 4 pin connector from my ATX power supply, it worked very well. The blue USB-3 sockets on the board accommodated my cables built into my case, but the ones included with this product also worked well—if a big snug in the socket.

Does the job
Does the job you ask it to. Not all OS's like it, but windows gets along. Had a blue screen, until I found a better driver, but was random.

Works on a nearly 10 year old machine
My laptop has a mPCIe port that was used for the wifi. I swapped the wifi card out for this and bam, instant usb 3.0. The only thing that wasn't super clear was the power configuration. It looks like it is just a standard 12-v on yellow, 5-v on red and blacks are ground. This comes with the 20pin to usb cable which is a nice touch. I am running linux and there wasn't any problem detecting the USB ports.

No power cable
Has not worked without floppy drive power cable that did not come with it. Ordered separately.

Works great, Linux supported.
Needed to add USB3 for external drives to a linux box - fortunately I had a Mini PCI Express socket - low cost, good fit. Cables are stiff, but high quality.
