"You were right, Mom"
We live in the US, and my daughter attends school in the UK. Towards the end of her last break we did a quick snack food shop. I even said "Are you sure you don't want these? I don't want you to get back to school and regret not bringing any". 2 weeks later I heard the most magical words you can hear from a teenager, "You were right!". Hearing that and the smile on her face over Skype made the $14 well worth it!
