SCHOTT ZWIESEL Banquet Iced Beverage Cocktail Glass (Set of 6), Bar Glasses for Long Drinks, Dishwasher-Safe Machine-Made Tritan Crystal Glasses, Made in Germany(18 Ounce)

Needed an extra 6 tumblers for a dinner party that I hosted a while back, and these did not disappoint. There were no flaws or breaks out of the box, and they almost match my other 2 tumblers (which were quite more expensive when I got them a few years back for personal use). These tumblers have a good heft to their weight, good shape, and are a nice addition to the table. My guests from that dinner really liked these glasses and they worked as I had hoped. Unfortunately, I moved for a new job, and there will be no more dinner parties for the foreseeable future, so these are stored away for now.

Schott Zwiesel make beautiful, everyday glassware that I'm not reluctant to use for guests. This long drink glass would probably break if I dropped it on the tile floor, but other than that it's pretty sturdy. It comes out of the dishwaser sparkling. It feels good in the hand--regardless of hand size. Finally, my husband and I have found glassware we both enjoy using. The wine glasses are also wonderful, resist breakage and survivie the dishwasher nicely.

We bought a similar set of glasses to these by another brand and decided to send those back and get these for the quality of them. These have been heavily used for about two months now and still look brand new, with no scratching or etching even from the dishwasher, and none of them have broken or chipped. They clean up very nicely as well and certainly gleam in our cabinet. Very happy with them.

I purchased these Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal glasses last September expecting quality and durability, especially considering the price point of $40 for just six glasses. The product description promises "dishwasher safe" and "break resistant" glasses made with their special Tritan crystal technology. Well, last night one of the glasses SHATTERED in my dishwasher during a normal wash cycle. Less than 6 months of regular use and already one is broken? This is completely unacceptable for glasses marketed as exceptionally durable and specifically dishwasher safe. What's most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Zwiesel customer for years, having purchased multiple sets of their wine and water glasses. I specifically chose this brand because I trusted their quality and durability claims. I've reached out to the company directly to see if they'll stand behind their product and replace the broken glass. If they respond appropriately and make this right, I'll update my review. Until then, I cannot recommend these glasses if you're looking for long-lasting quality. Save your money and look elsewhere. UPDATE: I will revise this review if and when the company addresses this issue satisfactorily.

Best glasses I've ever encountered. They are thin, stable, and stays clear. I just wash them in the dishwasher and they come out sparkly. I liked them so much that I purchased two more sets. I also plan to give them away as gifts.

I was looking for a drinking glass that is durable and modern looking. I'm hoping that these are durable when washed in the dish washer. The last glasses I bought cracked easily. I just got them so I can't rate the sturdiness.

I bought the 11.2 oz glasses to go with the large 18 oz Banquet series ice tea glasses that I already have (and love), and I am very pleased. The crystal has a nice ring to it when tapped and feels delicate and lightweight in the hand, though it is very tough and durable. I purchased just one box of 6 of these 11.2 oz glasses as I was not sure how the smaller size would look with what I already have, and now I will purchase another box to have a set of 12. They are delightful.

I first bought the 14.2 oz size - way too small. I bought these glasses because every other type of glass I tried to use ended up getting etched in the dishwasher. It was embarrassing to explain to guests that the glasses were not dirty, they were just hazy from etching. These are as clear as the day we bought them, and we use them every day. I did have one incident that is not a defect, but I'm just going to warn you about it. I had a glass of ice water and before washing it, I dumped the water and ice into the sink. Unfortunately, all the ice had bound together and when I inverted the glass in order to dump the ice and water, the ice dammed up because the glass is tapered at the top. This had the effect of hitting the glass with a hammer from the inside, and the glass broke in half cleanly half way between the bottom and the top of the glass. I am much more careful now!

Like - the look and the feel - shape is very comfortable to hold in your hand and looks good on the table. Looks quite small but holds a fair amount. Wish - it was a little heavier and a smidge bigger.

The glassware does not have the ridgeless rim associated with crystal glassware. It has a small bead that bulges out at the rim that is not pleasing to the lips. It also does not appear to be 11 oz as it is closer to an 8 oz glass size. Very disappointed.
