Excellent cough relief especially overnight

On a recent visit to my Doctor, I asked if there is any cold medication that is safe to take with my HBP medications. I have been on HBP medication for several years. The Doctor said that I can take any cold medication with 'Coricidin' in the name. Enough said there. The 'Chest congestion & Cough' medication that I purchased had an expiration date of a little over 2 years. You can purchase this type of formulation cheaper under generic names. I feel better taking something with a name that was recommended by a Doctor.

Coricidan HBP assists an already compromised respiratory system (for people with CHF). We, who have CHF (Congestive Heart Failure), are much more likely to develop flim (early stage onset) with the more serious accompanying respiratory issues. With a healthy cardiac and immune system, most people easily throw respiratory issues off (usually). People with CHF, however, are much more susceptible to respiratory problems. There is the continual threat of developing pneumonia for people with CHF. A large percentage of CHF patients die from pneumonia. It is my *personal opinion* that if you combat the flim at an early stage, you are much less likely to deteriorate - and develop pneumonia. Additionally, this product does not interfere with Beta blockers or ACE inhibitors - medicines most CHF patients must have (hypertension). Coricidan HBP continues to save my butt. I use this ESSENTIAL medicine frequently. Again, I am only expressing my *personal opinion*. Love you guys. God Bless.

If you have high blood pressure you need to be aware that many cough medications can raise your blood pressure, this one does not. With the coronauuvirus you want to make sure that your not taking a cough medication that will raise your blood pressure if you already have high blood pressure.
