Good for mini idli which a child can carry in tiffin and good for 2 to 3 ppl only as the size is small

It's nice but small bowl according to picture

From Hawkins this is a very good IDLI maker especially if you are only one or two people but Two Things - 1. The most bottom plate is unusable since water from top comes down here. It should have been higher or had a greater ground clearance 2. This is Aluminium which is unhealthy to the T when cooking. Aluminum results in aluminium poisoning which is why I expected a brand like this to have the same thing in Stainless steel.

Works well with my cooker . idlis turn out in perfect depth can add a little more depth to it .

Best for mini idli easy to use .you can use it in steamer and also in cooker . quality is awesome and light weight product without any sharp edges .but use it with oil greasing .the uploaded picture is after 4 year so durable product.

So far so good. Size is small but works well for a smaller family. Fits well in a 3 LTR cooker. We can rub some oil to avoid idli sticking to the stand. I do not have a reason to rate it below 5.
