Works great in my 2017 F150
I'm happy with this product. I did not like my cellphone riding in the center console taking up space and sitting oddly with the charge cord sticking out. This solution works great. I'm able to keep the charge cord plugged in. My center console is freed up for other things. The location of my phone is out of the way. I can easily see the phone. the devide seems sturdy enough that it will not break. The phone is positioned were it may get a better signal when in poor coverage areas. bottonline...I like it.

Great to keep phone in your truck dash view, holds tightly
Holds phone tightly, need two hands to mount phone. Using phone with a Wi-Fi RV backup camera in it. Frees up a cup holder.

Neat idea, but far too flimsy and unstable for my iphone.
While this phone mount places the phone in a great position in my 2018 F150, the product is far too flimsy and unstable to efficiently and safely use my iphone 14 plus. Even driving on recently resurfaced good condition state highways at 55 mph results in so much jiggling and shaking that it is very difficult to view map apps on the phone. There is so much shaking that I am concerned that any further attempts to use this mount could damage the circuitry of my new phone. I simply wasted money on this phone mount.

Stable but difficult to operate
I bought this for my 2015 Ford F-150 and it fits perfect and is in the best place for me. It installed easily and seems to be stable and holds my phone tightly. The only complaint I have is I wish the manufacturer had a open and release button of some sort. I have to use two hands to place my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in and out of it, and don't use it have as often as I would've if it contained the release mechanism. I wouldn't but this model again unless it came with the mechanism.

Voodonala 360 phone holder Ford f150
I have a 2021 Ford F250 Crewcab, The holder works perfectly. Fits into place as pictured for the Ford F150. The holder sits on the dash, out of the way, unlike cup holders that take up console space. Easy to mount with adhesive strips the come with the mount. Also, has a screw that allows for the top phone holder section to be removed in case you need an obstructed view, occasionally. Have tried other console holders, this products works well, out of the way, the phone holder section is strong, I pulled my phone while in the holder, does not come loose easily. Would highly recommend.

good idea poor implementation
I would not recommend the mount to others. It served me 16 months. however, the ball seems smaller than the socket and you cannot adjust the tension on the ball because you have to tighten it to the maximum to have any attraction. the screw that holds the mount to its base always came off and had to be tightened every week or so depending on what terrain you drive. when i go on an offroading trip i do it every day. i finally decided to put glue on the screws and it kept tight. but other screws came off later and now the mount has come to pieces because of the small screws coming off because of the vibration. planning to throw it out.

Unstable, wobbly
I first tried my phone on the dash. With the ball mount screwed down tight, it seemed to stay in place, but the road vibrations made it so wobbly as to make the phone unreadable. So, having read that the manufacturer (or vendor) apparently says it is a standard mount, I tried popping my Garmin GPS on it instead, as the weight would be more centrally mounted. Alas, that was a terrible idea, since the ball is ever so slightly under 17mm that the fit is loose, and just a mile or less of road vibration would cause the GPS to droop down, and for some strange reason end up pointed at the passenger side. (See photos for how I set it, and where it ends up after a minute on the road.) Shown in the photo to the left of this travesty is a ProClip mount custom designed for this application. It's a bit more expensive, but I'm going to try it next.
