Used it on a wooden panel, which I intend to have hand painted by an artist. The base coat on the wooden panel was smooth and white. Absolutely recommend the product.

I’m an amateur crafter but this is hands down the best gesso for two reasons. It’s good value. It gives amazing coverage over my lumpy plaster and sculpture works. It has the consistency of delicious cream cheese. Also dries a beautiful bright white. Highly recommend it.

I use the gesso primer paint on the end tables I make. I use the primer before using acrylic paint to paint the top of the table. It helps keep the paint on the areas that I have primed with gesso and makes it easier to make my designs. I would order this product again. The only drawback is when the gesso dries up some on the lid and then those dried pieces fall into the primer when I pour it. It is definitely worth the money I paid for it. It does not have a smell and the quality is great.
