Why do I need to buy this car door edge guards strips?

Does this stirps fit my car? Is it universal fitment?

Fits most of Sedans, Trucks, Suv, Sports Cars. NOTE: NOTE: NOT compatible with f150 front doors and some B M W models. NOT compatible with car doors with a thickness of 5mm or greater, or for models that come with pre-installed sealing strips.

Does this strips damage my car paint? Why do I need to remove built-in metal clips?

Installation Tips: Cut the ends of the strips with scissors(not included) to reveal the metal clips inside and remove the metal clips. It could prevent rust from happening and will not damage your paint.

Does this strips fade color over time? Can it survive car washes？

It's made with UV resistant material and could hold color over time. It fits perfectly and tightly. Rarely Falls Off When Washing the Car.

Reference Suggestions: 32.8Ft(10M) maybe enough to be installed on 4 doors on most cars. 16.4Ft(5M) maybe enough to be installed on 4 doors (vertically)on most cars. If you own more than 2 cars or send it as a gift, recommend 65.6Ft(20M) option.
