Comfortable, cool, and perfect for a good night’s sleep
We recently switched to the Simba Lite 15 cm cooling foam mattress in our guest room, and it quickly became everyone’s favourite place to nap! The Simbatex airflow foam helps keep things cool and breathable, which is great — no more waking up feeling hot or sweaty. It strikes a lovely balance between supportive and soft, and the 200‑night trial gave us plenty of peace of mind to decide it was right for us. The mattress feels well‑made and UK‑crafted, and even after several weeks of use it hasn’t sagged or lost comfort. If you want a comfortable, breathable foam mattress that helps you sleep better, this one’s definitely worth considering. 🛏️✨

Simba Lite Mattress 5,9 Inch
This review is for Simba Lite Mattress 5,9 Inch, with Cooling Foam, White, 135cm x 190cm (Double) I received this to review as part of the Amazon vine program. This arrives rolled up in plastic wrap rather than in a box. It has no instructions with it. I unwrapped it and laid it on my bed base. It looked as thick as a topper and about 8cm thick. I looked on the website but this model isn’t listed. General info from the website: My mattress arrived, how do I set it up? + It's so simple you could do it in your sleep. Just open the box and unroll the flattened mattress on to your bed base. Safely cut the plastic and break the vacuum seal. Then remove all the packaging and watch your Simba rise to the occasion. It's safe and ready for use in six hours, though it might take up to seventy-two hours for it to expand completely - so don't be surprised if it seems fuller after a couple of days. You don't have to keep any packaging, so feel free to dispose of the box or transform it into a something fun for the kids (or pets). -- I left this for 8 hours before use and it expanded to 12cm. I hadn’t anticipated just how thin this was going to look on my bed base. After 8 hours there was a smell of foam in the room from the mattress. I aired the bedroom out but the next day ended up with a headache from it, and still notice the smell after a few days although it does seem to be lessening. Despite leaving this to expand each day with no bedding on it, after 6 days it has expanded to 5 inches. I am finding it comfortable, but I have purchased other mattresses for a similar price as this one and they are 30cm thick, and in all honesty I find them just as comfortable.

A good budget Simba mattress
Simba Lite 15cm Cooling Foam Mattress, This mattress came rolled up in a vacuum bag. This mattress seems to be the more affordable mattress that Simba produce so its an entry level if your looking to try out their products. These is quite thin compared to others on the market at just 15cm in depth. As this is a single mattress this does make it good if you have a bunk bed for example especially for the little ones that sleep on the bottom its not tall enough for them to hit there heads on the upper bunk although if you have a bed in a spare room this will fit quite nicely. comfort wise i would say this is firm although because its all foam there are relatively if you sleep or your stomach or your a side sleeper this does offer some good comforts. This does a good job in supporting your body especially around the shoulders and hips. Due to being a thin mattress i would say the bigger person would probably sink into the mattress. This does keep you cool i would say cooler than other mattresses Ive used in the past however, this does lack springs so durability wise could sag as time goes on although Ive used this now for just under a month i haven't experienced any such issues. I would say the edge support is weaker than other i had in the past this i felt was probably the only negative i could find if i have to nick pick. Overall this is a good mattress if you sleep on your front or side, The coolness is quite decent and better than some even at this price point, a 3 year warranty which is nice although their high-end mattress are usually 10 years. This provided good support around the shoulders and hips although possibly not for the heavier person. I did leave this a day before using it in order to get rid of the plastic smell and to let it fully form.

Comfortable slim line mattress
This mattress is as described at 15cm deep, and standard double mattress size. It arrived in a roll in a vacuum sealed bag and although very heavy I wondered how it would expand into a double mattress, but it did! We left it expanding overnight so did not sleep on it the first night. It fits out bed frame perfectly and is very comfortable to lie on. I did sleep on it with just the mattress, but, I should make it clear that we now use it with a mattress topper on it as we have a heated under blanket and I was concerned about the heat from that directly on a memory foam mattress. Our previous mattress had embarked on a slow death and I kept rolling off the edge (into the wall, not out of bed) and this replacement is lovely, it is very comfortable and no more rolling. I am not sure how long it will last and I have never had a memory foam mattress before. I will update the review if it doesn't last long. At £279.00 at time of review. this isn't cheap, but it is very comfortable.

great brand but at a bit of a premium.
simba are a mattress company whose name and reputation are well known as a quality brand. this is very much their entry-level offering and priced at £280 is still quite a steep investment compared to a lot of other brands on the market but it's undeniable that the quality of these matresses is truly excellent. at 15cm it's a thin matress that's suited to a tall divan base so it's at a comfortable height for getting in and out of bed or sitting at the edge. the foam construction makes for a breathable and temperate sleep environment and is an ideal choice for those who run hot and prefer a cooler nights sleep. it fits a uk double frame very well. i do think a portion of the cost here is spent on buying the brand but with that comes a reassurance about the quality of the construction and materials and while it's a fairly simple style mattress and not quite on par with the comfort of their much more expensive offerings for some people it will be an affordable option for something they can put their trust in even if you may find more value for your money with a lesser known brand if you're willing to make a gamble. overall though i like it and think it's a very decent mattress that i enjoyed using.

Really comfy mattress, perfect for the spare room.
Simba Lite Mattress I was looking for a comfortable mattress that could be stored under a bed and pull out as an extra spare bed for those occasions when the grand kids come to stay. This mattress fits the bill perfectly. It comes rolled up and vacuum packed which makes it really easy to handle and to get up the stairs. Once in the guest room I released it from its packaging and it started the process of re inflating itself. It seemed to get up to size pretty quickly but I left it for 24 hours just to make sure. The mattress is stated as being of medium firmness and I would probably agree with that. I didn’t sleep on it but I did lay on it for some time and found it really comfortable. The quality that I would expect from a brand like Simba was clearly evident and the cover and general finish is excellent. This is an all foam mattress as opposed to their more expensive composite mattresses but it is perfectly adequate for a guest bed or a child’s / young persons bed or bunk beds. It’s not a single layer of foam, it actually consists of 3 layers and the top layer is a cooling foam which should help on those sticky summer nights. Bear in mind that it isn’t very deep, at 15cm or just under 6’’ it is probably the shallowest mattress I’ve ever had and finding fitted sheets for it might be a problem but this mattress certainly has it uses and the cost is far less that other Simba mattress’s. I’m really happy with it and I think it’s excellent value for money.

Lightweight - softer than anticipated
I've just got around to using this over the weekend gone when we had family over for bonfire celebrations. I'd converted a bedroom into a gym space this year which has halved the overall space in there and just wanted a simple solution for when we have guests over. It left me with only one size really that could fit that space and that was going for a single - we could have just used an airbed but they're not that comfortable, take forever to inflate and collapse quickly. When this popped up I realised it may work well. When not being used I can shove behind the wardrobe out of the way or even lift and slide under a bed in the other rooms. It comes flat packed and mine was rolled up in wrapping. I've had a few flat pack mattresses, so was used to how these inflated. At first you think "there's no way that's going to be big enough" but they do press out nicely when left for several hours. I'd heard of this company but wasn't sure of what to expect if I'm honest but after guests tested it out I'm happy to report that they said it was actually very comfortable. It's not as firm as a pocket spring but a million times more comfortable than an airbed, it's lightweight too and can be shifted around when needed. As this was directly onto the flooring it actually firmed up better than anticipated, with the right frame this will be excellent. It's not only comfortable but also kept their body temp just right. The foam moulded around them and enabled them to feel really snug.
