This does work, sometimes pretty well and sometimes not so much.A tip would be to make sure the spikes are going to go where they should go BEFORE you put the material there, just close it slightly just enough to see where the spikes are heading, turn either circle if it doesn't line up right or bend some spikes a little if needed. This should stop it from going wrong and putting holes in your material. If a material is too thin then it doesn't seem to work very well, I cut a small square or two of the same material and sandwich it in where it'll be hidden and then it works fine.The only thing i'd change is to have them be a little smaller because I use these for doll clothes but other than that i'm pretty happy with it.

Liked that there are a variety of colours to choose from.

The pack is very good value and the range of colours is great. These fasteners do not grip the fabric as well as the Prym ones but a lot cheaper so if you don’t mind wasting a few they are a good alternative

Love these!!After the lack of instructions (bad images, no text) I figured them out with the help of YouTube and playing around with the different pieces.Easily held together a layer of cotton with a layer of Terry cloth however I'm not sure they would hold together anything thicker or any more layers!!Need to push pliers together firmly for best results.Tiny bit of paint/colouring came off in the application of some of the coloured rings but not too noticeable.

Maybe I've not got the technique right but I for the life of me cannot get these to stay together. I wanted these to work so I could ditch the plastic poppers on my handmade clothing but these just have not worked for me. As I said I could be getting something wrong but I've tried loads of times and no luck getting them to stay on.
