Claims made on TV are not representative of the product. Does not work well at all. Too much ambient noise. Can hear all backround noise muffled but at a moderate level but unable to hear the tv ( the reason this was purchased) over that backround noise even when volume adjusted. Too bad. I would return it for a refund but unfortunately it was packed in the plastic you have to totally destroy to get at the product. I will do some research to find a product that works. The price will be higher but we’ll worth it. You get what you pay for!

This product only worked for three months.I have never bought anything that stopped working soo soon.Is it defective?

Excellent product with one major flaw. When you purchase it also buy a good set of ear buds to go with it. The ones that come with it are absolute garbage the sound quality is so bad you will think you wasted your money but the minute I plugged in the earbuds from my music player all speech was crystal clear. Great device and easier to deal with than hearing aids while watching TV and conversations.

Just kidding, It does work for listening to conversations across the room. I mainly bought it for my elderly Mother who is having some hearing issues with the TV and casual conversation. She says it works well for her and was cheaper than hearing aids she can't afford right now. I tried it and notice it does pick up every sound so a car driving by or a bird can be very loud.

These do NOT cancel out noise. Disappointing.

I HAD HOPED this would be the answer for my husbands hearing problem. A traditional hearing aid does not help because he has damage to the eardrum. So I thought maybe this would work. Nope, I tried the thing myself. Problem is when you use it, contrary to commercials saying it blocks out other surrounding noise, it does just the opposite: it magnifies the sounds other than peoples speech. So when You try to use it, if someone crinkles a piece of paper, for instance, or any small sound like that-- it magnifies that sound as well as someones voice, in short it's AWFUL. Save your dough!!!!!
