Xavax Hama Fridge/Freezer Thermometer, 00111019

Updated review: bought again as I gave this away to my mum when I got new fridge freezer with digital display. But recently jaut got a vest freezer so Needed one again. 100% accurate on both the one 5 years ago. And this on now. Far more reliable then other brands as I've had to return them as the were all displaying wrong. This one is perfect for its use in fridge or freezer. But would like to have an attachable stand as most fridges have glass shelves nothing to use the hook with. Old review from 2013: I ended up having the fridge too low and food going off. So i set it higher and it started to freeze and I couldn't balance I right. I then got this and found the ideal settings. so now I can use this to keep it on the right settings saving money but ensuring the food is in the right temperature. also useful for the freezer, as I have different controls for the fridge and freezer. Its a fan fridge freezer so the "speed" of the fan for fridge determines how fast to cool it down. the faster the cooling in fridge the less cold the freezer is, and vise versa. was able to get the fridge freezer to the right settings for both money-wise and temperature-wise

Large and easy to read. Comes with 2 clips to hang it in the freezer by. Much cheaper and better than one I'd considered on the high street.

If you can freeze stuff sufficiently at -18 degrees celcius, then why waste energy by putting your freezer on max when you can have it on setting 3? This thermometer helps you do that. I have one for my fridge too; this help me understand which parts of my fridge are colder than other e.g. the door is roughly 8 degrees C and the bottom tray is about 2 degrees C. This helps with defrosting stuff.

I have placed this in several locations in our fridge. It consistently says the fridge is 7 or 8 degrees Celsius, when that is clearly untrue. Everything is cold enough, and food does not spoil. The fridge is about the same temperature as any other standard fridge. If the thermometer was correct, the food would not last, and things would simply not be cold enough. It was inexpensive, but I guess to you get what you pay for.

I assumed the thermometer would be unobtrusive and just take up a small space in a small freezer compartment but it's quite large ( 210mm x 25mm ) as big as a large hot dog while this is unimportant in a large freezer it's relevant if you're checking a small freezer and leaving it there. Also it's not like the illustration it only has the ordinary thermometer markings with no reference to recommended freezer or fridge settings and that's fine if you happen to know what they are but it's not specifically made for a fridge/freezer.

I bet most people have no idea what the temperature of their 'fridge is. This is ideal if you want to keep an eye on it. It can save you money to do this as most of the time factory set fridges run them colder than necessary. This little thing hangs on a shelf and tells you the inside temperature immediately you open the door. It doesn't get in the way aND is great value for money. John

My fridge had gone off and I was worried about food poisoning if it happened again. This thermometer works well and hangs from a shelf by the fridge wall. Another reviewer suggested having 2 to compare the accuracy etc which is sensible. But after several weeks I'm happy with this one . It is slim enough not to take up any space you need for food and easy to unhook to check temperature when you think it's important. For example, when I've put a lot of shopping into the fridge, naturally the temp goes up for a while but when I check again after 1 hour it's back down to 4 degrees, which is where it should be. So far so good.

Pues, no es ni más no menos que un termómetro. Me sorprendió su tamaño, mucho más grande que lo que parece en la foto, pero aún así, un termómetro fiable. Lo recomiendo si soys de los que queréis saber la temperatura de todos los lugares del frigo.

Tipo: acqua ghiacciata d'estate, che appena la tiri fuori si appanna tutta e ti appanna pure gli occhiali! Ora finalmente riesco a regolarmi ed a fissare una temperatura corretta per essere sicuro della giusta conservazione dei cibi (Mozzarelle che si guastavano prima della data di scadenza!!) per il resto, OTTIMA QUALITA' HAMA 🔍 Spero di esservi stato utile in qualche modo...

Sa mesure de plus 30 Degrés A Moins 40 Il peut même servir de Thermomètre pour une Pièce la Cuisine par Exemple IL a une Graduation en Couleur près des Chiffres du Rouge au Bleu Roi pour voir Rapidement si la Température est Adaptée au Congélateur ou Frigidaire. .
